Hi Steve, It's day 2 of ownership of my Titanium and after watching your video I feel confident to get in the driver's seat and know my knobs! I did a test drive yesterday with relentless freezing rain and snow (the best way to test drive an AWD car) and was really impressed with Titanium's handling, breaking, steering, everything! Your video was so detailed that it went over every question I had. I need to know how my new car works instead of how I think it 'should' work. Although, the Titanium is very intuitive, so much so, that I was able to find the heads up display on my solo test drive without the salesperson. Android Auto is literally, plug and play, so easy. The Escape voice Nav system was a bit clucky but now I know how to change settings. Awesome! Thanks Again!
Great to hear your experience with the Escape has been good so far! Hah that's the best time to test drive AWD, it feels solid compared to FWD in the same conditions. Always like to hear that the videos help people learn so much about their new cars. Thanks for sharing and hope you love the new ride!
Only one part wrong, courtesy wipe. If you pull to clean the windshield the wipers go for normally three “wipes”. And then pause. Then do one “courtesy wipe” to make sure every last droplet is gone. It’s a great feature. 😊
I bet you would be an awesome trainer! You make newbies like me not be scared to get into a vehicle with all those weird, electric features and try them out. :) By the way, what are vehicle specs?
Thanks so much for the kind words Learley! Glad you're learning a few things and feel free to reach out if you ever have any questions. Vehicle specs are how the car/truck is configured. So in this video the Escape Titanium has the 401a package with the Titanium Premium Package (HUD and sunroof)!
@@CarsWithSteve Thank you for the awesome informational education! :) I need to learn all I can to be a successful salesman, or saleswoman. lol!! :) By the way, I subbed you and clicked onto the bell after watching three of your educational videos. :) Again, thank you. :)
Can you make a utube explaining all the dash icons and what they mean. I have a dash icon that lights up red at the top center of the dash. It looks like a traction control icon.
@@CarsWithSteve it sure did! I bought a Ford Explorer Limited 2021 and I love it… BUT My husband bought the Ford Escape Titanium Elite Hybrid and after I seen the savings not only in gas but on insurance I decided to jump into the same car as him. I pick mine up on Wednesday. I’m sure I’ll be a little shocked at first going to a smaller car BUT the savings alone will be worth it. I’ll keep you posted.
@@staceya6621 Wow, from the Explorer to the Escape you'll notice a huge difference! I'm sure it won't take long to get used to the size and once you see those savings at the pump it'll make the switch easier for you. Hope you love the car when you get it! Curious what a one week compare would be like from your perspective

Absolutely the best most comprehensive video on this system!
Thank you, appreciate that!
excellent explanation of all items. wished I had seen this 2.5 years ago. Thank you, so much.

You're welcome! Haha, at least you saw it today. I have to get better at marketing these videos

Oh that's a good idea for a video! I'll add it to the list
Does the passenger seat have power adjustments as well and can it be lowered down to the floor like the drivers side?
In the Titanium trim level it does! It's a 6 way power adjustable seat - forward/backwards, up/down and recline
Amazing and very informative review.
Thank you so much Aline! Glad that the video helped

Ok so i know the stop start feature but what exactly is the Auto Hold?
When you come to a complete stop with Auto Hold turned on you can take your foot off the brake and the car won't move forward!
SYNC Will actually TALK to the 911 operator, and if the operator dials a number on the call, He can talk to the occupants.
You seem to know a lot about these things Andy! Are you an enthusiast, tech or do you work for Ford?
@@CarsWithSteve Because I watched all the “Knowing your Vehicle” videos on Ford’s channel.
@@agarcia4271gaming That's great! Good to know you dug so much into getting you know your car
@@CarsWithSteve yes, and it is a brand new 2020 Transit Connect Wagon. Over here in the states, they don't count it as a commercial vehicle.
@@agarcia4271gaming Interesting that it's not counted as commercial in the US! Do you know if it's because of the vehicle weight?
Uh, that's really nice. Lol
Agreed!
