I love seeing First Nations companies tackle the issues most important to them. Even here in Canada, the housing crisis is critical but especially in FN communities. I did census in the Far North and some houses had upwards of 18 people living in a place meant for 5-6 people max.. Heartbreaking!
Pop ups- yay!! Have them on just a second or two longer, but they were great! Not sure what i liked the best, but the copter ride was pretty outstanding!
Wow Kristina, this tour was much better than the one I had, and better footage, learned a couple of things as well. Thanks again for the shout out asking Trevor about me and my place. It gets me all excited about my place again. 😄
I was most impressed with how clean it is compared to other factories I've toured. I like how you integrated my footage and yours. I might have to do the same when I put up my factory video.
I first learned of Zenni homes from Kerry Tarnow's YT channel, but I loved this detailed tour of the factory and the pop-ups of information, totally new info. Thanks!
Great video as always but I ESPECIALLY love Pop Up Video tidbits... I grew up on that show and dearly miss it! Now I have that tune stuck in my head... ;-)
It's ironic that we took all the Navajos land that finally after all this time they are getting something that they should have had from the start! They are now being provided jobs from it. They look comfortable and well made.
Kristina, I am going to watch this over and over so that I can read all the blurbs...I missed a lot because as I was reading, I also wanted to hear what was being said. Sista, I want one of these, but I am not hugely big on all of the electronics for fail safe reasons. Where I live, power goes out a lot (Deep South).
These are so cool. I hope they do grow enough to be able to be avaliable nationwide. As a personal preference, I wouldn't my home fully automated, but for those tech loving folks, I think these houses have some amazing features.
This is definitely one of my favorite factory home builders. So they finish them on site during the 10-day set up? And THAT'S why they don't have any finished and furnished models to tour at the factory? Also... I think the easy part is selling and building affordable factory made homes. But... the tough and expensive part is just about everything else. Locating affordable land zoned for such a dwelling. Water, sewage and electricity. Shipping thousands of miles. A competent setup team. A driveway to an attached garage or carport. Basic landscaping. Finding someone that will bundle all these expenses into a single 20% down 30-year mortgage. Finding someone that specializes in insuring your type of home. I have yet to find anyone on YT that addresses these types of concerns.
So you can view homes set up in Phoenix Arizona. Here’s a link. zennihome.com/ since these homes are built to IBC building code they qualify for a 30 year fixed rate mortgage and they also are insured like a typical traditional home.
That was cool!! I looked at Modular maybe 20 years ago and I liked what I saw then. Just the cost of land around me was as much as buying a house so it didn't make sense to me here. This looked fun. Now I want to find one I can go visit lol. The nerd in me loves this stuff!! Thank you!!!
One question I have; is the Citizen designed to possibly qualify for USDA mortgage, if a correctly located parcel of land could be found? I know that in the past USDA was more likely to prefer a minimum square footage of perhaps 800 sqft. That USDA in the past would prefer to lend for a home that is more "average" in it's square footage, being less than 2000sqft but also not too low a sqft below 1000. If that has changed, that would be a real opportunity for those who qualify for the lower interest rate of a USDA mortgage and also who desire to live in the citizen model. Also, would I be correct that in most of USA, any type of mortgage on the Denizen as stand alone parcel property, would be difficult due to it's small square footage? That the Denizen is more so likely only possible as a ADU, unless a uniquely zoned parcel and a special lender could be arranged? I like these homes very much, just curious to know if the lower-interest rate lenders intended for a lower-income demographic will cooperate. Love the VH1-esc retro pop up video feature, so fun. I expect someday the algorithm will push this video and it will be much appreciated by the youngest demographic in need of home ownership education. This was not an easy video to create, thank you for making this trip so we can all learn more about ZenniHome. Your dedication really shined with this!
These look awesome. Hope they can expand to deliver to the whole US.

LOVED the popups. Great and important info without making the video too long or off topic.
Thank you for addressing both the need and a solution for housing on the rez. Many struggle to find wood to heat their homes.
This is DESPERATELY needed with the quality of work being done on new homes to day.

Now we know what you were doing in Page. Love the indoor electrical panel.

No trust me they are not.
Spoken like a person that knows nothing about Indian history.
You did a great job! Thanks for asking the tough questions.

Love the pop-ups, Downtown Julie Brown!
Miss those days so much!
Excited that a viable option may be on the way for us consumers! Thanks for the tour Kristina.

Thank You CS. Great video and info.
Very nice, I think they have a winner for the Nation and consumer.

Excellent information 💯
Thank you
Very cool video Kristina, I did love the popups!
Low on inspiration today, but this turned that right around! My goodness I hope they're successful!
Great idea! Looks to be a win win if they can get people to accept them👍
Loved the helicopter footage, just beautiful!
Great video!
You should learn more about SPAN, they have some really really cool concepts and products.
Will the be available to Navajos only or can any American anywhere in the U.S. buy them?
Yes. They are for the public as well. Currently only approved for Utah and Arizona.
Can they make high ceilings practical?
I liked the design personally would prefer a two sided galley kitchen.
Can you add zenni home to the video title? If folks search for Zenni, your video will come up.
😍😎🏠👏👏👏
How much?
Where to find honest pricing on modulars?
❤❤❤❤
