Nice watch guy’s working hard for them fish but well deserved makes it even sweeter sometimes we’re all guilty of sitting behind rods waiting for them to turn up wen they could be an opportunity in most unlikely of spots
love these films/vlogs with down to earth anglers doing there thing ... no real product pluging (like in some other films I see) great angler is Luke, and nice guy aswell ... keep these kind of films comming
Mate, how far are you fishing away from your rods you seem to have two rods into different places plus you seem to be fitting on another bank waters I fish wouldn’t be allowed. Also you should be near your rods and that surely I always fish back from my Rods i’m just saying before I get jumped all over I’ve been doing this a long time and I’ve seen some serious things where people have not been on the rods
Hi Grant - Thanks for the feedback and fair points you've asked about. In this film, Luke is never more than one swim away from his rods. His 'stalking' spot was just down the bank in a gap between the trees, well before the next swim. All totally safe and legal within the fishery rules. We appreciate not all fisheries would condone stalking, but the fishery in question allows this to happen, so no rules were broken. But you mention a really valid point and in absolutely no circumstances are we condoning being off rods, Luke's angling was within the fishery rules and all super safe, with no snags present resulting in two bites, two fish safely landed. Our apologies if this wasn't shown as clearly in the film. Really hope you enjoyed the film nevertheless mate 🙂
NRA rules .. rods should not be apart .. what about out in a boat with his rods out and no life jacket .. forget about other people there as this is how he fishes anyway but what's he do if he has a take in the Pokey hole and then one of his other rods goes .. teaching people the wrong way to fish ... would be banned from my syndicates fishing like that !!
@@GaryKimbell Gary, the bailiff was on site during filming, having the rod in a poke hole next to the swim was deemed as good angling and within the rules, the rod was no more than 30 yards away. Hope this clears any confusion up regarding the unattended rods mate.
Everything that's bad with the modern angler, teaching people that it's okay to leave your rods out and walk 80 yards down the bank to look at another area, then when he does move he then splits his rods in different swims, then when he's got two rods out he then goes out in a boat .. teach people the right way guys ffs !!
Hi Gary - Totally appreciate your opinion and feedback regarding this film. Unsure if you are aware of the lake in question, but Luke was never more than '80 yards' away from his rods and on this fishery, it is permitted to have multiple rods in 'poke hole' areas providing the angler is within a swim, as Luke was. In regard to being out on the boat with rods out, again this was not the case, as can be seen in the film. At both points Luke is in the boat to bait (as allowed within the fishery rules) his rods have been wound in as shown. Please note, we will never condone the practice of being off rods, breaking rules and pride ourselves on showcasing good solid angling.
80 yards away from his rod's? Doesn't the EA licence rules state that you must be in control of your rods at all times? Usain bolt would take 7 seconds to cover 80 yards! No offence intended, but Luke doesn't strike me as an Olympic sprinter. Don't join the "it's safe crew".
@@KordaTV thanks for replying but the lake may allow you to split rods but EA rules that take presidence state that your outside rods should be no more than 3 metres apart .. also what does a member do if another rod goes off if you've already got one on in the Pokey Hole and I didn't see that he had separate landing nets in each of the swims .. he was also out in the boat without a life jacket .. going back to my original point .. teach people the right way.
@@GaryKimbell In regard to 'what would you do if a rod goes off if you've already got one on', that's just an unfortunate fishing situation that can happen in any normal fishing circumstance. Same could be said if you were out playing a fish from the boat when another rod went. It's rare that these things happen but of course, in angling they do and Luke being within close range of his rods at all times during this film posed no additional threat to the fish. When snag fishing however, then of course, the distance of the rods is drastically reduced, and it's important to remain on the rods at ALL times. In the film in question, Luke was fishing the one swim (The Point) with a rod in the 'poke hole' bush, with no snags present, with the rods within close proximity from the brolly, with a net in each swim, along with a camera crew on hand to assist if needed, which they weren't.
@@MattChap205 His rods were in the same swim, unsure where the '80 yard' distance came from. Fishing 'the point' swim on this syndicate, this is quite a common tactic by the anglers, ensuring better and safer line lay, allowing fish to move into the bay without detecting lines. With two nets, and a camera crew (not that this makes a difference) in this situation, it is safe and solid angling.
hardly an advocate for good angling, being well off rods while out in a boat. seems like a catch at all costs. no hatred towards the man but thats bad angling!
Good angler and a nice film but its not really true to the reality of carp fishing today as there is nobody else in sight and he is free to roam wherever he wants.
My sort of man. Not had his breakfast an he's thinking about his tea. Lol😂
Luke, you are THE Mr Kipling of carp fishing vlogs. 👌🤩
Do enjoy Luke’s fishing. Tricky waters, flexible tactics. Proper angler…
I do love still seeing someone fishing tigers down the edge!

Seems like he’s got the lake to himself and casting a rod out in every peg 😂
Nope, only fishing the one peg, and no other anglers on surprisingly!
That peg must be 400 yards wide
Qaulity 🎣👊

Has nobody thought they made a film someone will be with the rods 🤣🤔camera man
Good signing by korda this lad...👏👏

Was mate dipping his rig to shrink the tubing
Yep, dipping it in his kettle to shrink the tubing.

How far away from the rods..
One swim, as allowed in the rules mate.
How far is this guy off his rods ?
One swim, has a rod in a poke hole next to the swim he is bivied up in 👍

Them rigs are too long for me, I'd be using half that...
Luke catches a lot of fish… so showing this gives you an insight into his fishing. Maybe give one of the longer rigs a go?
Chod section is always the bomb, however long the hooklength. But why ditch the swivel? I NEED to know 😂
I switched to longer rigs about a month ago. Has transformed my season. Am suddenly getting multiple bites each trip. Better hook holds too.
@@vise_fn. Simply less clutter, something Luke's always done.
seems like the video is sped up 🤣
The intensity of Luke's angling, savage 🤯
Is James’ Fish still alive?
Some say Spooner bored it to death 😂

Cameraman is on the bank with them. Not sure there’s an issue there.
He fishes like that anyway .. piss poor angling !!

It's a normal syndicate mate, with members. We just got very lucky the place was quiet during filming.
What do you know. More pics of dudes that have to stare at the carps head because some clown did that on a magazine 30 years ago
