Hey girl hey! Lol cactus....🤨 gotta love em. When I repot small cactus I use tongs, that paper bag and towel was a great idea!
The ants situation reminded me of when I had an ant colony in my 14 inch pot of philo painted lady, and when I went to water it…let’s just say it was traumatic. They built their home in the saucer too 😅

Why am I so invested in your cactus collection at this point? Idk but I love seeing them outside living their best lives! 💚💚 Also I have a teeny tiny one piece monkey tail (wishlist plant) and I can’t wait until it trails and grows more arms 😃 I actually touch it all the time bc it’s so soft!!
Love the cacti. A lot of the saguaros are dropping arms or completely falling over in Tucson and Phoenix because of the heat😣

When I saw the cacti, I was like oh my gosh 🙀, good luck 😂. Good job keeping them alive, they would be dead in a week in my care.

My boobie cactus has the same markings, I know it’s not scale because I had scale on a plant before and it comes off very easily.

I don't care for terra cotta inside my house - which just saying that outloud I feel offends - but I do not care for the discolored patina it makes me uncomfortable like I need to scrub or clean it so I collect this one like of glazed pottery. Also in the sun room I have a collection of talavera cause I like all the colors housing all the green. I keep eyeing getting a monkey cactus lol.
I had the same thing happening on one of my boobie cacti . Someone just did some digging and told me that they’re sensitive to humidity, and to bottom water at night on these. Not sure if it’s true or not, but willing to try it!
