I know this would probably never happen, but it'd be cool/funny for ER:LC to allow people with the police customization gamepass to be able to put ELS and other gear to civilian models. In real life (and especially true for NY) there's a chance you'll see a car you'll never expect to be an undercover vehicle, which would probably make for interesting RPs. Also, I feel like another tip would be to look out for basically any vehicle that has the more civilian looking rims as a default (widebody, SFP widebody, Silverado, etc). All you have to do is basically put on the Undercover package and remove all the exterior lights and other gear. This is especially true for a lot of private servers.
What would be cool is if they buffed the scanner. Make it like everytime a cop reports there 10-20 using the radio (or hits there panic button) a dot is showed on the mini map where that 10-20 on the radio is. As thats the entire point of a radio scanner. Its to scan the radio to watch calls.
Use only the visor or dash lights (that includes the dash light accessory) and side window lights because only using these lights can let you have cruise or rear lights on and they dont show at all so if you want to have your cruise lights on but not have them show use the lights i said above and dont have anything else on the car. I MEAN NO OTHER LIGHTS
0:14 the green one is cos ya can see the fog lights and the white one is the civilian car cos it’s not got no fog lights ya can see a black line and it’s the grapple thing the black bar on the grill is the spike grapple

While sharing these definitely helps criminals figure out who’s a cop, the cops still have other tricks up their sleeves. I’ve used them on the police team with help, and it works wonders, I catch people off guard so many times!😂

Protip for cops:
Try avoid cars that have different wheel design to civilian team when unmarked.
in summary, when comparing civilian car models to the police models, the one that looks more badass is usually the police model
The way I do it is I look on the mini map, if they are a civilian, they will appear. If they are a cop, they won’t.

Widebody, Bullhorn determinor, Ford Bronco and Dodge Durango are pretty good disguise for undercover.
Durangos are not 100% foolproof but it works
From the top view, the civilian Challenger has a slightly different, more curved spoiler than the police variant, which has a boxier spoiler.
