Honestly, based on the thumbnail, Minecraft definitely did it better. The sniffer design looks like a mix of a giant dinosaur and a droopy eared dog, and I LOVE it. The “redesign” in the thumbnail not only doesn’t fit the actual Minecraft style, but just makes it look like a generic dinosaur, rather than something unique.
I think one big hurdle for hostile mobs is the random biome generation. I think they are starting to figure out the plan for hostile mobs though. you don't want to raise the difficulty too quick for new players, but you want to add enough challenges for old. The ancient cities are amazing for this. I do think the deep dark spawns a little bit too close to spawn though.

Yeah but like, a mod gives you what you want in a game, if you just played the same with a different path eventually you would get tired of having no way to do more
With the "inventory management" section, you were using the bundle to move things from one place to another, which is what the bundle wasn't meant for. It's meant to store a bunch of items that you have a bunch of small stacks of and up your inventory, like 4 rotten flesh, 2 seeds, 8 daisies, 1 bell, and 4 beds for example so that they only take up one space instead of eight. The chest moving mod really dampens the use of shulker boxes, and it doesn't feel Minecrafty in the sense that picking up a storage block with everything inside is a late-game luxury, not something you get at the beginning.
@@philipgelderblom6878 Yeah, which honestly makes the bundles kind of bad. I get that shulker boxes are meant to be a late game thing but... once you beat the dragon is there really anything left to do n vanilla Minecraft after that? By that point shulker boxes kind of become a moot point
You can carry 20 shulker boxes. You can only carry 1 chest at a time. If we travel a few thousand blocks. Lugging 1 chest back and forth will take ages if you had 20 full chests. However 20 shulkers only requires one trip. So it is just a niche quick thing to carry an extra chest. Also you can't use anything while carrying so you have to plop it back down if you need to defend yourself. Trust me carry on is very nice. Other mods make shulkers truly redundant. I agree with the bundle part, however, with the mod you can only carry one chest at the time, and can't do anything else while you do that, you can't even run. Compare that to Shuler Boxes, and carrying chests might seem useless (just like they did in this video when comparing it to bundles).
I think I know why Mojang takes so long with updates mod developers usually use apps that are made FOR modding, while Mojang actually has to code it themselves and design the textures and stuff. This is because it has to be released to the game rather than being optional like mods are.

I was thinking about something. If Mojang were to add an End update, how would it act to old worlds? Sure they can update the ungenerated parts of the outer islands, but what about the central island? They probably should update that right? But the only way I could think about doing an update like this is to not update the central island because if they did it would destroy and possibly corrupt old worlds. Anyone who comes across tnis comment, how would you go about implementing an End update?
I want people to know modding some features into a game is a lot simpler then having to change an ENTIRE game codes and make it work without bugs for bedrock and Java
Minecraft definitely wins imo, with the exception of inventory. Some mobs are cool as well, but many of the mod features could be equally as boring and forgettable in time. Hence why I think Minecraft is very careful about what they implement. Mods are still fun, but I wouldn't want most of these features.
Honestly the end game mod for me(someone who can’t even get to the end in normal Minecraft) just makes it even harder than it should be and plus it would ruin the speed running community completely
My thoughts on each section as I watch For the archeology one…I like what we got, but I wish we got the pottery from the mod, as it’s what was advertised would be vanilla when it was first announced (if I’m not mistaken) That carry on mod isn’t inventory management, it’s just “carry more shit” and it looks like it actively makes you slower as you carry a chest, it only makes you a LITTLE faster…wait…that’s just a shulker box with extra steps Yeah yeah, “mob vote bad” WE ALL KNOW, GET OVER IT! These mobs might be cool, but outside of the mob vote, there are REASONS they’re not in the game Again with magic, it may be cool, but it just doesn’t fit in with the world Neather: correct, the mod is cool, but it’s a bit much Deep Dark: oh god, the Skulk dimensions again…would it be cool? YES, is it implied? ALSO YES, is it ever gonna happen? ALMOST CERTAINLY NOT…the deep dark is CREEPY, which is the whole POINT End game: Minecraft is an objective less game…that’s the beauty of it…why would you need to be required to go to every structure in the game just to make an Endermen farm or get building blocks?! Concussion: Mods are cool if you want a slightly or radically different experience, but saying that mods should become vanilla just because they “do it better” defeats the point of the mod AND vanilla
I don't agree with the second one, Bundles are Not meant to move large amounts items around, it's just supposed to free slots that otherwise would just have 3 bones, 4 bread, a diamond, etc. Of course it's not gonna compete with carrying chests, it shouldn't! The bundle is great, but people want it to solve issues it wasn't meant to adress.

Yeah mods are better then the main game
I love your content and was wondering how you make your mods
knarfy said my favorite line in the spider man franchise! 😆
please make a hydra mob in the next video please😊😎👏
The twilight forest has a lot of good mobs including a hydra. Just saying
Bold prediction: the mods will end up winning.
I got that doc oc reference
I want to create a dimensions revamp mod that also includes the Aether reimagined… if I’m spelling it correctly
On the nether is subjective, since that mod were too much there other mods for nether like one that just makes nether fortress better
THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING!! THE DEEP DARK IS THE BEST MOD!! NEW LORE TOO!!
There's a mod called biomancy that's pretty cool in my opinion.
I first liked vanilla minecraft but now i am obessed with modded minecraft
For me the nether isn’t supposed to be beautiful and scary so its the vanilla that wins
I love the comment that said "can I have frosty and a small fry" 😂😂😂
My thoughts on each section as I watch
For the archeology one…I like what we got, but I wish we got the pottery from the mod, as it’s what was advertised would be vanilla when it was first announced (if I’m not mistaken)
That carry on mod isn’t inventory management, it’s just “carry more shit” and it looks like it actively makes you slower as you carry a chest, it only makes you a LITTLE faster…wait…that’s just a shulker box with extra steps
Yeah yeah, “mob vote bad” WE ALL KNOW, GET OVER IT! These mobs might be cool, but outside of the mob vote, there are REASONS they’re not in the game
Again with magic, it may be cool, but it just doesn’t fit in with the world
Neather: correct, the mod is cool, but it’s a bit much
Deep Dark: oh god, the Skulk dimensions again…would it be cool? YES, is it implied? ALSO YES, is it ever gonna happen? ALMOST CERTAINLY NOT…the deep dark is CREEPY, which is the whole POINT
End game: Minecraft is an objective less game…that’s the beauty of it…why would you need to be required to go to every structure in the game just to make an Endermen farm or get building blocks?!
Concussion:
Mods are cool if you want a slightly or radically different experience, but saying that mods should become vanilla just because they “do it better” defeats the point of the mod AND vanilla
the only concussion here is the one you gave me trying to read this
My opinion is that mods are super cool and add things that arent in minecraft

Legendary line
Wow nice editing
What's your shader ?
Honestly though, the mod looks better than a Pokemon clone
I don't agree with the second one, Bundles are Not meant to move large amounts items around, it's just supposed to free slots that otherwise would just have 3 bones, 4 bread, a diamond, etc.
Of course it's not gonna compete with carrying chests, it shouldn't!
The bundle is great, but people want it to solve issues it wasn't meant to adress.
