This game looks like an AP nightmare....and I love it!
@10:57 I found myself screaming at the screen, when rahdo put down the light blue dots to get Thurman as there was a yellow dot in the line which would also score a yellow button if he used that instead! I did not make it better when he pointed out he was wasting all the color!

Oh man, puzzling this out with you is stressful! Probably would've backed on the Sobel art and price point alone, but this excellent puzzle is tempting to buy many for gifts.

As a proud cat daddy and lover of puzzle games, I'm feeling the fomo for this one. But $40.00 for shipping to Switzerland. Sigh. Once again we lose here in CH. That $40 for shipping would raise the overall value to $69.00+, which would result in an additional $20+ customs fee from the Swiss govt. On top of all of that, it does not cost more to ship a game here than it does, say, Greece o Yugoslavia, yet we are charged double.
well, considering how well the game is doing on kickstarter, i assume it will ultimately get a normal retail release so maybe wait till then :)
@@rahdo Of course, there's no other option. But it would have been nice to be able to support the game. It's a mystery to me why it costs half as much to send a game from Germany to Portugal as opposed to shipping a game across the border to Switzerland.

@@rahdo I'm Canadian. I need to move home instead. Seriously though, many campaigns are more than reasonable. Tidal Blades deluxe cost me under 30 for shipping. Wee Calico costs $40.00? Something fishy going on there. I've seen this rate from one certain distributor a lot of companies are dealing with these days. They are the primary issue. It would certainly help with customs charges if CH was part of the EU, but it doesn't cost $40.00 to send a Calico sized box from either the UK hub or the German one. All I can do is protest to the companies that deal with that shipper and hope they work to bring the price down. Shipping should never cost more than the game does.

Just watching this is doing my head in. For some reason I'm much better at spacial puzzles than pattern puzzles so this may not be for me. I feel like Patchwork is to Tetris what Calico is to Puyo Puyo/Dr. Mario.
Doesn't placement of the tile at 4:52 allow a Patches to be gathered immediately?
iirc it has to be 3 of a given pattern, not a combination of the 2 patterns that a cat likes :)

EDIT: I'm wrong. -- Should the placement of the tile in 10:59 reward another light blue button? (it's a distinct group of 3, different than the one that awarded the previous light blue button)
I don't think it does... it's not a group of 3, it's a group of 5
@@PauloRenato23 I missed the rule that said that button-worthy groups of the same color must not be adjacent to each other. (BTW, it's a 6 with the border tile)
