My excitement is heightened as I watch your vlog and discover how the island of Siquijor has made you feel. With the hope that you will return and discover more of the island, please have a great time. Yet, here is still so much that needs to be seen and learned.
Thank you so much Eric. Siquijor has won my heart and we have already planned a month long trip there very soon. We love it and can't wait to discover more.
jerry look like a Pilipino😁 i also recommend you to eat landang/binignit/bilo-bilo i think they called it ginataang halo-halo you can easily find them everywhere bcus its holyweek now almost Pilipino will cook that one yum yum yum!🥰
Jerry is constantly mistaken to be a Filipino. Thanks for your recommendations. I have a list of recommendations and plan to try everything - I think. ;-)
So wonderful to hear that PH has become one of the top countries you've visited! And glad to know you're planning to come back in a few months time. ᵔᴗᵔ That purple ice cream is UBE flavor btw. Ube is Purple Yam which is originally cultivated here in PH and is used for a variety of desserts and snacks. It is now becoming popular in other countries as well. 💜
Our next visit will be longer as one month was far too short. Thank you for the info about the UBE ice cream. It's delicious. I hope you have a lovely day. ;-)
Nice try on swing jump sir Andrew w😍😎 enjoy and stay safe..."yolo" you only live once😋😘 keep calm and be happy always..cheers! tnx for adjusting and loving our beloved Philippines🇵🇭..Mabuhay!

@@AlwaysonaJourney Thank you for asking. I am from Tondo, Manila but left for US at 9 yrs old and havent been back for nearly 50 yrs. I am planning to go back (in a couple of yrs) and getting reacquainted with my Philippine heritage. So you vlogs are very helpful in reaching my goal.
Hi Rose. We've tried the Halo Halo now at Chowking and think it's very nice. I need to google Bebangs as if you think it's the best one I want to try it. ;-) Thank you!

You skipped the southern part of Cebu for its hundreds of amazing turquoise blue waterfalls to see the waterfalls in Siquijor? Cebu has hundreds of waterfalls which are more beautiful as they have turquoise blue water with multiple levels, multiple falls/cascades and multiple deep pools and set amidst lush tropical jungle.
Hi Giorgio. We didn't skip the south of Cebu for Siquijor. Our itinerary just took us on a different route. Trust me wee have already planned to explore the south of Cebu. Wouldn't miss it. ;-)
El Nido, Siargao, Cebu, Dumaguete, Batanes, Palawan, Bohol, Davao, Boracay, Puerto Gallera, Vigan, Hundred Island Pangasinan, Bicol, Batangas, Tagaytay, Baguio, and a lot of uncharted island in the Philippines😅
You finally had the halo halo! It’s missing a leche flan and an ube halaya. It’s more moist than sweet potato, it’s a species of yam. It looks like you2 are loving the Philippines, especially the island vibe of Siquijor. Are you still in the 🇵🇭? You have so many more islands to visit. I’m jealous though I’ve been here the start of pandemic and haven’t really been anywhere. British and Thai can stay visa free for 30 days. You can extend an additional 29 days visa free, idk if Thai can get it free though. After 59 days you will need to apply for an ACR card. It’s valid for 1 year. I can’t remember how much I paid. You have a choice to extend your visa every 1 month, 2 months or 6 months. The max you can stay is 36 months. After the max stay you can go2 ie Thailand for a day or so and come back to the 🇵🇭. Then it’s a fresh start. Happy travels Andrew and Jerry.
Hi Amalia. Thanks for al of this info. It's really useful. We have left Philippines now but will be back again at the end of May. The plan is to stay longer next time. I'm trying to find out if Thai nationals can extend their stay past 30 days aswell. Upto now I haven't found any info that confirms this. I hope it's possible as we'd like yo stay for four months next time. I can't believe you haven't traveled. Where are you based?
@@AlwaysonaJourney I’m based in Cavite Province 🇵🇭Jerry probably have to pay for the 29 day visa extension. When you arrive at the airport, tell the Immigration agent that you will be staying longer than 2 months. Ask him and he should be able to help you.

When are you going to Siquijor?

As a solo traveller, where do I put my wallet/camera while jumping into the water ?
You can put in your bag and hang on the tree where you can see it while you are in the water, normally it's quite safe there.
