You made a good case for Bob, which at first I thought couldn't be done with a straight face...however, no matter who the writers select Bob, Caleb, Nathan or someone else, it would be simply to keep things interesting, because the fans believe no one can replace Ty, and their love story can't be duplicated.

Caleb is loves her dearly. He's practically part of the family. She needs a little lightheartness in her life. She's always so serious about everything. There could be some great stories of funny senerios with Caleb being right in the end. Include him with Granger stories. Let Jack help him mature and become the Jack in Amy's life. She's going to loose Jack one day. She needs someone with close family ties like Caleb to keep the family going.

I like Sam. I like Caleb for his loyalty and kind heart. But just as Amy's "brother". That other moody guy no way. Surely they can find a new actor for Amy's love interest?
Did you notice is season 17 episode 6 Amy had a white hat and hen she entered the hotel room and for the rest of the episode had a brown hat.

Never thought about him as a possible suitor. I would be open to that possibility. One I came up with was the boy from Pike River that called Ty about the trapped horses. He would be just a couple of years younger than Amy. He really liked Amy at the time.

Finn was a farrier, so not as educated as Ty and Bob but not a bad guy. I just like that Bob is so passionate about animals having opened a rescue center. it’s a complicated issue with the care of animals..how do you decide which ones live or die for example (horse vs cow) and i know the bear issue with Bob was complex. but it made the storylines so interesting! i truly believe those stories need to be told :)

Bob is a lousy person. He could not even respect Ty's desire to stay home because his wife was pregnant.
agreed in some respects, but I think the fact that Bob himself didn’t even have a girlfriend and wasn’t married could play a part of that. Because it could be that he went right to college and Vet school and never had a relationship so maybe didn’t understand what it takes to be in one. A lot of guys mature much later than girls so I could easily see a guy not understanding that someone needed to stay home with his pregnant wife, in fact, I’ve come across many guys like that lol!!!
