Morning everyone! Well, this is the 5th of 6 videos with your codes to collect! And don’t miss next Sundays video, reveal of the new knife name, prizes and more!
Good information. Tough to be the one pulling the knife from the dishwasher and seeing it warped.
Good video - thanks for the info, good learning about oiling a knife and with oil. Nice way to end it "stay sharp".
Good information Chad, thanks for sharing 👍👍
Thanks for watching!
Oh man I remember that trout knife. You made two or three I thought. Cool kbar upgrade.
Yeah, made two. Two irreplaceable Trout 307's
1. No dishwashers
2. No sinks especially full of water and left to soak.
3. No cutting on ceramics, steel, stone etc.
4. Wash and dry as soon as you are finished with it. Some foods, blood etc can and may etch your blade changing the original finish.
And now I add a 5th element (some of you might know why that is a little entertaining)… once the blade and handle are clean and dry, wipe it down with butcher block oil and then wipe it off (not scrub it off because wiping will still leave a very thin coat).
There you have it.
Nicely done Chad!!!
Here here!!! 😉
Thanks for the shout out! 🙌
My pleasure pal.
Always love your work!!!
Thanks!
