It was really beautiful that time of morning with the sun coming through the gorge. We are happy we decided to hike west to east. It was very cold but not the coldest or longest swim I have had to do and we didn't have to swim with packs so that was a bonus. I think Léo screamed louder than me though!
We were destroyed by mosquitoes at Fringe Lilly! We had more bites on our legs than skin! For 2-3 days after we had to spray Stingoes on our legs at night or we would have gone mad with the itch.

Watch out for mossies will all those stagnant pools right by your camp!
