Thank you for the FB link Cecelia, fantastic program! Loved all the performances! Congrats on all your hard work in filming so many events intertwined with the segments showing the spectacular beauty of truly magical Svalbard. ❤️
Luckily I tweaked my back, which forced me to slow down, and found this channel to happily spend my downtime binge watching. The cinematography is amazing and Cecilia has such a lovely spirit that brings such fun to her videos. Absolutely beautiful captures of such a quaint village. I can only imagine the plethora of people who are now intrigued and want to visit. I also enjoy the history, of Svalbard / Longyearbyen, she offers in some of the videos. Strong work, Cecilia! Such a pleasant escape for me whilst allowing my back to heal. Makes sitting still enjoyable and educational.
I think I've seen quite a few "So how do I make money on Svalbard?" videos by now, but she seems to have a different job in every one, so that's okay :p .
You have a gift for cinematography.... Your drone work is stunning. And thank you for teaching us all how you hand your copper wire lights, because I've hung them in my home this winter! I may be too old to live on Svalbard, but I can have a tiny piece of Svalbard in my home ❤️ And this year, thanks to you, I am embracing the shorter days where I live, and digging down into the coziness of darkness. I'm tired of dreading winter! You are helping me appreciate the beauty in this season ❄️
Wow! You are so talented with filming, you should be very proud. What talent there is on that small little island. I especially love the traditional Scandinavian folk costumes people were wearing.
@@lev2727 No, of course not, anyone can point a camera and press the record button. I mean who would celebrate filmography or editing, how silly, imagine if they had awards for such things? You live in such a beautiful place, you must look outside every day in awe. So cool when you film in silhouette. Grimm is adorable with the ice. The costumes are beautiful.
As someone who lives in US in a hot southern state, the Nordic countries all seem like heaven to me. It’s only through RUclipsrs like you that I will ever get to see these beautiful foreign lands.
These videos are so interesting. I was just looking at a map of the world, saw Svalbard, and wondered what it was like and if anyone lived there. Thanks for posting these amazing peeks into your life.
Yes when we see a photoshoot on camera we never take into consideration what it takes to set it up and its a lot. So well done you and well done Grim for being a good puppy and staying home with his friend .
I will watch the whole show. You are very talented. Those were some awesome shots. That second one with the Govenor walking out in the roof; all of that gave me chills...beautiful! A blessed life you have; thank you for sharing it with us!
Followed your link, what a beautiful tribute/celebration for Norway's constitution day. Your video was also well done, congratulations from America...............
Cecilia, as a long retired pro photog, I can honestly say that you have much to be proud of your work ma'am. Very well done! Of course it helps to have blindingly beautiful scenery to work with as well! 😍😍😍😍
Beautiful work! I recently found your channel and I am completely enchanted - and this is coming from someone who has lived in Florida for over 20 years. A request: Light pollution here is horrible, could you perhaps do a time-lapse of your night sky with the stars, when that becomes possible? Much thanks, and keep up the excellent content!
You're so incredibly talented and I was really excited for you. I particularly enjoyed the beginning and ending scenes. Three years ago I was in Oslo for the May 17th celebration and it was such a joy watching everyone walking around in traditional dress. Definitely one of life's highlights.
That enclosed snowmobile trailer (Grim's uber) is really neat. I have never seen anything like that and I am in central Wisconsin. We used to snowmobile but it is always hit or miss weather wise, unless we trailer the sleds a couple hundred miles north to upper peninsula of Michigan.
Today’s entrepreneurs are so high-tech like you, extremely talented! And it is interesting the juxtaposition of the old and the new. So little of the old left but yet it intrigues as a prop and can’t be duplicated, exists only in the past.
I loved this video! I watched it several times. Your spoon tool trick to open the camera is brilliant! It's great to go along with you to your various jobs. I enjoyed seeing all the Constitution Day Celebration film participants. They are talented. Keep taking us with you.😀
Simply awesome! You truly capture the beauty of all of the various aspects of the celebration... even the mayor's speech! On top of the building. Your videos have brought Longyearbyen and Svalbard to the world in a very fun, unique and artistic way... let alone adventurous!💞💙☕
I have to say the girls doing aerial acrobatics using sheer fabric were simply amazing. They were as good as any Circque du Soleil performance I saw in Las Vegas a few years ago. Cecilia, intertwining video of the surrounding landscape scenes from Longyearbyen with the girls performance was stunning. Nice work. Be assured you will get the job next year. You are too good at what you do.
Awww Grim is so gorgeous💕 Love how excited he gets with the ice. Love your videos and I am in awe every time I watch because the scenery all around is so magical. Thanks again for a beautiful video.
High quality video with stunning videography as always. Thank you for taking the time to re-edit some of the videos so we could see some of the process, really appreciate it. Gorgeous nails, too.
Svalbard IS absolutely marvellous!! Such a beautiful place! On the other hand, I like your previous explanations, so detailed! But nothing compares with your incredible voices Cecilia🤭😃😃
Brilliant video footage. The scenery, the beautiful outfits on the Chorus and Musicians. The drone footage - just stunning. Great work Cecilia. What a fantastic place to be a photographer/videographer.
When I’m relaxing after a long day I don’t even turn on the television…I automatically snuggle in to watch this channel! Beautiful video! Thank you for sharing. ❤️
Thanks for sharing. The acrobatic ladies was just amazing especially with the back drop of the snow mountains. That drone video of you in the beginning and end of video is also amazing.
Always looking forward to these and your timing is perfect as usual! Sending love and warmth from South Africa (since our winter is warmer than your summer) 🤣
13:33 to 14:45 I know you had to change the original song due to copyright, but the track you chose sounds absolutely lovely! It reminded me of hearing the choir at St. Paul's Cathedral in London one summer Sunday morning many years ago ... the singing combining with the music just carried everyone away.
what an incredible channel - both Cecilia and Chris are awesome, oh yeah and so is Grim! Just love watching the show; sometimes it feels like I'm right there. Thank you for sharing....
This was awesome! The choice of photo scenario was inspired, with its hard rusting steel struts, set against the beautiful pure crispness of the snowmountain's and the sensuality of the shadowed models. Fantastic job.
I tend to forget that film ever existed, but I thought of it at the beginning of this video when you said you checked your memory cards, not thinking of how many rolls of film to take out of the fridge and pack for the shoot. :D Digital rocks! And what an exquisite and unique contribution you captured for this year's celebrations. Loved Grim's icey dog treats, and the woman in traditional dress trudging along in the Arctic expanse at the end.
Coins for spoon! I use here in Saudia! It’s so so relaxing to watch your stream when outside is 40 c and you have a howling snow storm! Love grim grumbling ! Keep up this beautiful amazing work
Did I see that your old cabin space is open to the new addition now? Loved the glimpses of your filming work. There really is a lot to know to make such effortless looking videos like you do. The drone shot of the governor walking out to give her speech (can I say what an unusual but perfect location that was?!?) was sooo stunning!! Kisses on Grim’s icy nose, and enjoy a little more free time again! Well done from hot 🥵 Las Vegas!!!
Oh my ❤️ thank you for sharing the fun and the beauty of your island. The music singing and performances brought me to tears. Thank you for introducing me to your May 17th celebration. Love simply love your photography skills and especially your editing. Your talent is a gift for sure!!! 💕

Hey Cecilia! I love your work and I’m finding this video particularly interesting, I just got to the part about the spoon and I know it’s been three years so you probably bought the real tool by now, but I have actually been on a medical pump with the same little Round piece with a slot through it. I found that in coin is perfect and I always have one on me. On my device I prefer a nickel because they’re a little thicker, but I doubt you have an American nickel lying around. So if you’re looking for something a little less cumbersome than the spoon, I would definitely try various coins available around you. Or if you ever get into a situation where you don’t have anything to open it with it’s so easy to get change from a store or a coffee shop. Anyway, thank you so much for your videos. I absolutely adore the landscape where you are. I watch tons of travel videos because I’ve been too sick to actually travel myself, but yours are so calming and beautiful! They’re really something special. Lately I found they help me sleep which has been amazing. Anyway, thank you and maybe someday that tip will be helpful for you!😊
