    That is from Ghana 🇬🇭. We use it for preparing waatse-our popular rice and beans stew with the red like color. That leaf gives it the color, and it’s medicinal too.

    1st u touched is sorghum flower ( millet flr) used to make wankee. A Ghanian delicacy and also as herbs like a blood tonic. You boil it and use the water to cook rice & beans (wankee) or drink the boiled juice as medicinal herb.

    Who owns it? It seems far too many African shops in London are not owned by Africans. This raises many questions.

      They were linked into the Business by Nigerian guy's.

    • @andrebo4034
      @andrebo4034 2 года назад +3

      @@nathanielobasuyi5362 I guess if they are able to provide them with the lead then they have the potential to own it as well. Maybe it's time to start asking these uncomfortable questions rather than the wholesale promotion of such shops. What are the institutional conditions creating this problem? Do these shops employ Africans or have "diverse and inclusive" staff members? If they do, at what management level?

    • @konyam8020
      @konyam8020 2 года назад

      You're right but real Africa shop's are very expensive. So no one go's there.

    • @andrebo4034
      @andrebo4034 2 года назад +1

      @@konyam8020 could that be due to the institutional challenges they face compared to non-African-owned shops? How different could their supply chain be? What different challenges do they face (e.g. at the port) when they import? I guess your concern is part of the problem but a facade to some of the main challenges beneath.

Pls can you tell me the days I can get fresh veggies as I don't want my trip to London to be a waste. It will take me almost 2 hour to get there by car. I want to know, if you don't mind, since I can see cow tongue, do they pieces cow head as well? What about round about etc?
    Want to buy crayfish in big bag. Can I get one there. One that can stay 2 yrs and more. I don't like shopping so I shop in bulk for some particular stuffs. I spend more importing from Nigeria. Wanna try London. Do help me darling. Thanks.
