Boots! When I forget my wading boots, I slap my running shoes over my neoprene socks, and carry on with the fishing day!!!!

I recognize Xenie from the film “Low and Clear”, one of my favorite indie films ever. Got a chuckle seeing him Spey /swinging after the great back and forth over ‘nymphing’ vs ‘swinging’ in that film (which I loved).
I couldn’t quite tell if this video was serious or slight parody (ala Hank Patterson). Either way it was entertaining, and glad to see Xenie still doing his thing (he’s a fishing film superstar in my mind).

That guide did a good job not punching that dude in the face when he said, "I gotta guide somebody in a few days so I gotta remember everything we do!"

An opthalmologist will say that you don't want to know the types of eye injuries from hooks. Its a good thing it was just his face... Always wear eye protection.

I feel for Gill and I'm sure this probably isn't even the worst guy he has guided.

more like a 2 out of 10, seemed like another client, but one of those guys with no skill trying to be a know it all big shot. i loved how gill pointed out what a real guide actually does.
