Azgorh, if you'll tell me what you record on ill buy some of your albums on lp? I used an old tascam mk2 taper and now a tascam dpo2 with cd burner. Got your oceans of eternity on tape
Azgorh, this album is amazing. I've been following your work for about 4 years now and with every release I am astounded how you out-do yourself each time and each record is just as good if not better than the last and each one definitely has its own feel to it. Truly some of the best black metal I've ever heard.
I found this on my local classical music radio station, you know, when they ask for donations and shit,it was played right after one of Bach's Brandenburg concertios....a most satisfying evening of music listening if i may say so myself!!
I love these black melodies, the dark vocals/themes, and the amazing album cover remembers a bit Nagas from Warcraft saga. I keep thinking ocean-themed Black metal, like From the Abyss and this album, it's a really cool thing! Really amazing, hail Azgorh and DTL
DTL and Azgorh are amazing and true, SW was good but sadly today it's "hipstered". However, i enjoy these kind of melodies in Black Metal. Hail the black flame!
Even though this wears all the trademarks of Black Metal, I find it "strangely" uplifting and an easy listen. I'm not saying I don't like it; in fact it's slowly growing on me. "Strangely", because it doesn't seem to make a big effort to come across particularly grim, misanthopic or hateful (with some minor exceptions), like BM usually does. Just wanted to point that out in case someone feels the same way about this musical oevre.
I am also wondering when Azgorh was born. I been waiting months for this and Strigoii. Both amazing albums! Although I would have to say I prefer this one. So fucking unique, haunting, mysterious and beautiful at times.
@@DarkAdversaryProductions666 I'm Aquarius too, February 10, thanks again, Capricorn just has that cold vibe but aquarius is the definition of ice. cheers!
@@carlospatricio-delirium2470Usually the fool thinks himself smart. I find it quite interesting whether you believe in it or not, being that Aquarius is the water-bearer (for those that don't know).
ok on my second album for drowning the light i started with from the abyss for raw black metal i give it a 9.2 really good but the band so far i love is Ieschure the band and not becuase she is a girl it's because the screams in that are tariffing and it just prices the soul but it's not depressing at least for me
Azgorh, I noticed you uploaded this album to Google music do you have any plans on uploading the rest of your discography? I know artists don't make much from streaming services but at least it's something and your albums are all on youtube anyway. I would love to be able to more easily listening to your music on my phone
Me too dude. I hope somone does something cool with it. The cover art is amazing.the record is amazing. It deserves a nice gatefold and some colored wax
The track "From the ocean... The Ancient Returns" travels you directly through the Deep ocean and it's secrets. Azgorh, have you been in contact or known of any aquatic humanoid anecdote? Because the cover artwork looks like one
I know black metal as well, but I don't see why you'd consider this bad. There are bands which practically record with a potato and achieve far better things than this album (ie. Windir, DsO, Mütillation, etc..).
@@snapsprovolone1509 Nope. My point is that Drowning the Light is a pretty good band, regardless of their production quality. This is practically the continuation of _From the Abyss,_ which had an overall better quality.

Yes drowning the light and satanic warmaster are my favorites because they understand the power of melody filtered through the black flame.

Hail from Argentina, Salve DTL!!
The synths and melodies bring me back to the first album. I know the band has evolved a lot but I wouldn't mind a return to the depressive roots.
Azgorh strikes again
Está á frente de seu tempo, banda maravilhosa.

From the Abyss was fantastic.
