In americas we are too wide spread apart so there’s barley a major “scene” anywhere for any metal, since everyone is scattered far. But I’m Finland they’re closer and tightly have a good scene going since late 80s early 90s for all kinds of metal
I saw them live at Montreal recently. It was one hell of a way to discover this band.... ... also, they did an interview in the french fanzine The Past Is Alive no 4.
According to Metal Archives: "...V-Khaoz said in an interview that the name of the band comes from the union of the (Swedish) words varg (wolf) and grav (grave). According to him, “Vargrav is the rest where a bestial wisdom lurks only to rise again.” The name is also a palindrome with 7 letters. The number 7 is the number of complement. A number of time and space, representing wisdom, perfection, balance and immortality. "
If there's any chance there'd be a repress of the purple, I literally missed it by minutes and it's already been on ebay and discogs of course for ridiculous money that doesn't back to the artist or label.
