I always thought New World was a fun experience from a solo players perspective. But I quit because I realized the end game was a pointless experience for a solo players, you basically need to be in a large active group to do much of anything beyond becoming rich or random world pvp. Though this is a long term trend with basically all MMO's. I'm excited for games like Star Citizen that will give anyone something to do no matter how long you've played or how many players you have.
I remember browsing reddit thinking "wow, this star citizen game looks so cool, I can't wait for it to release." That was almost a decade ago in 2014, I was 15 years old, I'm now 23. Don't hold out for star citizen to be anything other than an unreleased game. There's no incentive for them to release it all the while people contribute as much money as they do to help fund the game.
Kinda unfortunate that the fresh start servers are delayed for a few weeks Would love to jump in with everyone this weekend to experience everything but id rather check out the new levelling experience on one of those
I love the way you summarize the updates, making it into parts, showing example, etc. Great work! I bought the game especially thanks to your explanation.
Games always seem to become what they should have been on launch about 6-12 months in. If New World released now as new game in its current state it would have done waaaaay better.
@@PCgamerzone a beta for couple days is nothing compared to a game being fully released and operational with thousands of players playing for a year... comon bruh use ur brain
Just have to say.. I did the Fresh Start Server and hit lvl 60 for the first time in the game by mainly just doing the main quest and different side quests in the different locations. It went pretty quick and I didn't burn out doing town board quests over and over again as it was a year ago. This was much more fun as it was before. I cannot speak for the end game yet but the leveling aspect they really improved.
It's very smart to put the attention on early leveling more than on the endgame since there is more player experiencing the early game than the endgame. But, if the early is good enough to bring most of the player to endgame, the dev will have to put their attention back to the endgame.
“New player experience”??? It’s the same game as when everyone quit, wtf are you talking about? And of course the expansion is free. It’s a dead game that nearly 900k players quit in a few months. Clearly, they need to make the expansion free to desperately entice players back. And no sub? It’s never had a sub. So it’s not like they made the game better by not having a sub. Add something else.
- Are other players still able to rob you for everything you got due to idiotic tax rates on everything (at least if you have a house or two)? - Does it still cost up to HUNDREDS of azite (or wtf it was called to fasttravel anywhere?. - Is this still a walking/running sim due to no mounts and long distances to everything? - Are all dailies still exactly the same with no variety? - Do you still have to farm MILLIONS of resources to level crafting? Answer YES to ONE of these, and there is no "new player experience", imo.
@@johnhill762 Leveling is a lot easier and more intuitive than it was on release. I would know since I quit after a couple weeks past release because of how awful the lvling experience was at the time, and having been back to the game for almost a week now, I can say it is massively improved.
New World is so close to the perfect MMO for me, I just want like six more things: 1. New content to fill in the existing Zones, not new zones! Maybe add a town or two to each zone. 2. Slight PVP rework where zones have max levels that level 60s are scaled down to when PVPing. This way new players can play PVP fresh off the boat. I was able to PVP fresh off the boat at launch since everyone was the same level and that was really fun but now you can't really do that with level 60s running around noob areas. I also want a PVP only zone or PVP only servers. 3. Speaking of level scaling I want set piece story boss fights to level scale so they still feel intense if you miss them and come back later. I recently did a noob area boss fight as a level 40 and it was very anticlimactic. 4. Mounts. There's enough content in the game they don't need to force us to run around on foot anymore. If they do it I want the mounts to be able to die and have a long countdown before you can summon them again for PVP reasons. 5. More combat depth through features found in other games like character skill trees, more weapon ability slots, ariel attacks, guard cancels, perfect attacks, etc. 6. Visual changes to the world based on story progression.
While they have said no mounts was a design decision, i truly honestly think they simply hadn't implemented them and decided to launch without them as a "we will see" attitude. The game has gone through 2 design iterations in its development cycle that it would not surprise me if they could have waited 1-2 more years to launch they would have.
@@Matthew-.- Don't bother man, ppl just think it's cool to hate on stuff. Kinda like with cyberpunk. It will take awhile for people to move on past their hate and give it an actual try themselves without some crazy bias lel
Halloween boss isn't a raid boss, it's just an open world boss. The sandworm will be the first raid boss in the game, its attacks and stats are already in the game files
Great video. To add to your wish list, I'd like to see cross server group finder for dungeons, especially for mutations. There are a total of 11 difficulties (including the non mutated version) and they are stretching the player base extremely thin by only allowing us to queue within our server. It makes it hard to find groups for mid level mutations.
Jumped back in over a month ago, finished levelling to 60 and started getting into endgame. It was a lot of fun for the first 3 weeks but last week or so it's feeling more like that classic mmo job grind, farming elite runs and dungeons for currency to upgrade gear etc, praying to rngesus for good gear drops that i can use. Managed to grind my armouring skill to 200 and thought i'd be able to start crafting good gear for pvp/pve but turns out i'd need to invest a ridiculous amount of gold and get extremely lucky to craft anything useful stat/perk wise. Haven't hit any of the fresh servers as the 1-60 grind was tedious af (i know they updated the 1-25 experience which is good) and grinding trade skills again doesn't really appeal. It was fun jumping back in for a few weeks and i would still recommend new players to try it out if they're interested especially with the launch of fresh servers. Don't expect to get picked for wars unless you have 620gearscore and play a meta weapon combo/build Might jump back in for the raid when it drops
I hope they keep improving the game, but I will wait to come back when they improve PvE and the massive problem the game has in terms of how repetitive everything beside PvP is (after a few hours you will feel that you have done and see everything the game has to offer)
gotta say, put in about 450 hrs at launch till about December. It was fun but there was deff that end game wall of lacking content so gave it a break. coming back after that break i find alot of my favorite farming spots have been changed with new buildings and zones replacing what was once there and a plethora of new enemies. alot of the same still around with the quest lines and all that but they have put in a bunch of noticeable work for a vet returning. the grind for mats has changed quite a bit as well which is absolutely shocking. those of us who grinded for loads of Obsidian Flux and other higher tier refining mats in the zones of death and 60+ enemies. now i have thousands of the old common and uncommon refining mats so i can salvage it for what they kept. 2500 refined tanin for example..... 1 at a time...... to salvage it to Aged Tanin and keep the crafting going. lol
I’m seeing tons of negative comments that all seem to be coming from original players that quit and never came back. I don’t think you guys understand how overhauled the game has become since you’ve quit. I was in the same boat but came back in April and was surprised with how much better the game played. If you already own it, all it takes is a download to see for yourself since there’s no sub.
I disagree, I came back to it recently and it's still very soulless and feels generic. Yes, it's better than it was at launch. But it still feels like a very shallow game.
@@tokestarlive8394 Mutated dungeons scaling difficulty and modifiers from level 1 - 10. Similar to wow Mythics. Leaderboards for that inbound as well. Trials/PVE Arenas. @@h0rnbadger When people say the game has no endgame what they really mean is it doesn't have raids. Personally i find it refreshing to have a game whose endgame doesn't completely rely on instanced content. Much of New Worlds charm comes from the world.
Seems like the major problems haven't been addressed and probably never will be, This should have been a more PvP centered game, the PvE is not complex enough to carry it. -Still too much instanced content for me, especially for meaningful PvP. The entire faction/PvP system should have been closer to Planetside than this PvE friendly system New World has. I'd even settle for a DaoC system with full "PvP zones" and keeps that can be captured in real time. Wars are a stupid half measure system that please nobody.
Great video exactly what I was looking for. I kinda like full beat the game when it came out, had 2 60s but quit because of only 2 end game dungeons that needs a lot of farming to get into and the landscape wouldn't even load in for everyone not just a set amount of people. Gone through all the bugs even the void ore droprate bug where the best rate was a middle ground as max luck just disabled the drop chance altogether and I just so happen to have said luck and got me and my brother full voidbent gear. Nice to see this game is getting better.
The number of players could be much better, but with the merge of the servers it will be limited until the creation of new servers with and without transfer enabled
I refunded this a year ago when it came out because it was not what was expected to me but recently bought it again after seeing the updates and especially the Fresh Start Server. So essentially, I will be a New Player come Fresh Start time. (Thou I am familiar with it during Beta events). Things have changed since, I am excited. :)
Great insight, the game is nearly there. I have 1.2k hours on and off since launch, needed some breaks here and there. But I really love it. The new player experience is amazing, kind of wish I was playign for the start again... Oh wait... :D haha
I don’t think having seen all the update has to offer is a bad thing. I mean think of a game like runescape. The updates are singular quests or singular bosses/raids. Not every update is adding an entire continent to the game like when they added Zeah, which pretty much doubled the size of the game.
I would REALLY love if they'd bring back PvP scaling and maybe even add PvP Servers (maybe as an option for the fresh start servers?) The launch experience was SO much fun with open world pvp skirmishes everywhere, but when they removed the scaling less and less people had pvp enabled... which is understandable of course. I'm a bit salty that they seem to have done a 180 on the whole pvp focus sandbox and are now more going into an pve themepark style. Of course I agree good pve content is great to have, but pleaseee at least have the scaling in instanced pvp (OPR and arena) 😫 That shit would bring me back in an instant

It took AGS losing 98% of their playerbase for them to realize that they needed to step up their game, severely. :D Also, when it comes to open world content, AGS could take a Page (or Two) from Arena Net. As it stands, Open World Events and World Bosses are easily my favorite things to do in Guild Wars 2. Especially since AN just revamped some of the world bosses. AGS really should be looking at them when considering open world content.
Yeah I bought it recently. It's pretty good I like the mechanics both lifeskilling and battle-wise. I do however have a big problem with a bug I encountered... That bug keeps you from attacking or doing anything with weapons... not sure what else it prevents you from doing but dying doesn't fix it and you gotta entirely relog to fix it. Imagine if that happened during a war...
I started 4-5 months after it's release and I was intrigued beyond because I love MMO's and thought it was going to be something I could get over 1000 hours on but as far as I could with only 200 hours on it, I couldn't play anymore for how I was busy and just not motivated at level 40 and continuing on. But now I'm getting back into it starting a new character and now being level 24 it's quite refreshing now and I like the new changes as much and I hope more content and quality of life fixes continue much more.
14:33 - 15:25 Explains why I didn't bother with this game and why Ashes of Creatin will struggle if they don't offer PVE only Servers. I have never seen this style of system be good in anything. Before anybody gets tight if you enjoy the game keep playing it.

Didn’t seem to address anything when I tried it a few days ago. Still seems like a busted, confused, generic, free to play, trash game that doesn’t understand what it wants to be - a PVE survival game or a mindless PVP mmo…. IMO, they are fixing bs aspects of the game while still not addressing the fact that overall experience and premise are just inane and pointless. The entire game needs a major REHAUL (like ESO) - not little changes here and there. The entire premise is fked.

@@aleshruby3399 does the game world still feel characterless with cut and pasted environments? Have they added some interesting lore and characters to the questing, or is it still a boring spam of identical lifeless quests? That's what pit me off at launch. The game had little to no atmosphere/character imo. All of the other mmo's I've played have allot more character/lore. New world felt to me like a bunch of basic mmo game systems strung together in a very uninspired world.
I really like brimstone sands update. The Greatsword is more interesting than the the other weapons because it has different passives depending on stance. Makes for more interesting gameplay than click every ability on cooldown.
I went hard on New World at release. The constant bugs, loot exploits, item duping, and bots really killed the game for me. They let bots run rampant for months. It was just like 1 kick in the nuts after another. Then the item level grind, was a huge time sink, that was then time gated to make it even worse. Then they decided to make it harder, so you needed a group to grind the gear, then they didnt like that people were forming big groups, so they tried to nerf that and make it harder. They kept nerfing/buffing classes. It was such a cluster fk. I've been playing MMO's since EQ and never seen such a disaster. I quit. I couldn't commit anymore time to that dumpster fire. Then I heard about fresh start servers, and figured maybe I'll give it a shot, maybe all the people that had a massive advantage from all the exploits wont be around and we'll have a better economy. Yet.. the item exploits and dupes are still and issue, and even the fresh start servers look like they will be quickly destroyed by them.
Should I start the game now or should I start in the fresh servers? Im afraid that the fresh servers will be empty in a month and people are getting back to their main servers
Thank you Mr. Editor for no-lifing for us. You spoiled us with great footage. Still too early for me, but I just decided that I'll give the game a go, but will still wait a bit. Hope they continue with these updates.

Had Amazon launched the game as Beta last year, we could consider Brimstone Sands as the actual release of the game. That would have been way less severe to the game's image than that messy release and the whole 90% population drop that followed. That would also indicate that now the game will begin to have new content pumped into it, because New World was in this weird state where it had issues inherent to games still in development, but was also expected to have content added to it on a regular basis, similar to a fully released game.
Its so good they have made all these changes. They really have been trying hard and have fixed a lot of issues that were there. its great to see im still having fun :3
Great video but this is from the perspective of a “casual” new world player, you get the MSQ done you do some side quests and new dungeon call it a day for the new zone. For the “hardcore” fan base there’s so much more to do, maxing your Enead codex for mutations, farming gear & materials for runeglass gems & heartgems. Getting all ancient glyphs for chests around the map to hopefully get golden scarabs. The list goes on…
after all the early server issues, then the gold & gear exploits, rent & travel costs raised to silly levels, war lag exploit issue, weapons unbalanced, then the big changes with the gear score, it just demoralised many players as the play experience seemed broken in different ways every week or 2... some will be back, its a good game
Game is really fun now, god people complain bout these queues on expac/patch week is hilarious. FFXIV you couldn't get in for an entire month, OW was 60k people in queue xD. And this game just isn't instanced having a mega server (which really would ruin this game), Everybody had tokens to just move earlier. It's funny to see The new instance is rly fun, it feels more close to what WoW/FFXIV delivers. Finally a tank is neccessary and people have to care about mechs. Makes me hopeful for the future cause I was afraid it's gonna become a ungabunga spamfest only
I played the launch and up until February. I took a break and came back a few months back and continued to play into Brimstone. And honestly it felt good coming back initially but by the time Brimstone launch happened I came to realize the game still has a long way to go. It’s still horribly optimized. Desync is still bad, and there still really is not much endgame. Also, I know they are addressing it but the territory ownership is still horribly broken. I’m glad if people are finding it fun, but I personally still think the game needs another year or two. But right now, every time I come back, I have initial fun, but the get annoyed with bugs and all the other issues.
I bought this game a few months after launch, and learned right before i opened it that it was frying PCs/graphic cards. I never opened it and just immediately returned it, not wanting to take the risk. I kinda regret it, shoulda just kept it, and waited for it to unfuck itself...these comments have me considering buying it again- and actually playing this time!
I hope it can save the game. I enjoyed it quite a lot. It felt a lot like Runescape back in the old days. It was very relaxing and the combat system was fun. I think (If not already to late) if they can spice up the end game it might "revive" it.
Thanks Force. I'm a console gamer and I'd love to have access to New world. PC gaming is something not affordable for me right now. Hopefully one day, but, for now some of us are stuck on console. Thanks for the great content.

I'm enjoying the game again, but I am not sure what to attribute it to and by how much, because before the greatsword there was no melee weapon I truly enjoyed. Just hope they will change the look cause at the moment it doesn't even look like a sword.
Have they fixed the healer class? Targeting issues, scaling, etc. Is it still impossible to level as a tradesman (furniture)? How is the economy these days, has the market bottomed out? And most importantly, have they polished the graphics issues? Used to get massive stuttering. My system could barely handle "high" settings, and it's damned fine system. Have they managed to nix all the bots who were running around hoarding resources? Are residences still glitchy as hell?
Please also remember that console players might be interested in mouse / keyboard or gamepad / keyboard (for chat) like desktop players. There was a mouse for PS1 and gamepads for desktop. Nowadays, we have FFXIV with keyboard/mouse and gamepad on both PC and console like Call of Duty. Everyone need to open their minds ! Devs and players alike !

how's the world structured in this game? like traditional zones that require a certain level or does everything scale to you like in gw2 or teso for example?
Not only does it make sense from a gamepad standpoint, but also from a monetization stand point. Sub fees are something that console players in almost all cases do not pay. Sure, they buy into season passes when they come around, but not an ongoing sub. This is a pay and play MMO which just makes sense.
i think if they were to add armor or weapons that completely change the way your skill works and adds bonuses like an arpg they would need more mobs to run at you to make it feel impactful, new world has that dark souls combat vibe slow and the monsters tend to hurt if you aggro more then 3 - 4
There was already a cap on the taxes... they just lowered the range. (Both minimum and maximum. I remember specifically for the property taxes, the minimum became the maximum)
I’ve been playing since launch despite all the issues. I have to say this patch is pretty much a 10/10. It’s not 100% perfect but I’m having so much fun playing right now. AGS did an amazing job with this update and if they can keep this up they’re definitely on their way to having a top 5 MMORPG competing with the likes of ff14 and WoW.
Just don't add so many skills that someone has to make a ton of key binds. I do not like all of the key binds like you see in World of Warcraft. But the idea to change existing skills with new ones because of a piece of gear is a good idea. Thanks for the video. Good Job!

They’ve changed opr, added 3v3 arenas, and added the pvp track rewards system. Theyve fixed most known bugs, added a whole new territory, and 3 new dungeons since launch. They’ve added gypsum as well as like twenty ways to get it. Furthermore, you spamming “game hasn’t changed at all” in the comments is only unwarranted hate for hate’s sake. I strongly suggest you find another way to spend your time homie.
I always thought New World was a fun experience from a solo players perspective. But I quit because I realized the end game was a pointless experience for a solo players, you basically need to be in a large active group to do much of anything beyond becoming rich or random world pvp. Though this is a long term trend with basically all MMO's. I'm excited for games like Star Citizen that will give anyone something to do no matter how long you've played or how many players you have.
agree group finder / party finder always the problem till now. they need to imitate ff XIV in group finder
Kinda unfortunate that the fresh start servers are delayed for a few weeks Would love to jump in with everyone this weekend to experience everything but id rather check out the new levelling experience on one of those
Same
ditto
I love the way you summarize the updates, making it into parts, showing example, etc. Great work! I bought the game especially thanks to your explanation.
Games always seem to become what they should have been on launch about 6-12 months in. If New World released now as new game in its current state it would have done waaaaay better.
Except they couldn't. No game is going to get better or "it shoulda been like this at launch" if the game doesn't improve and test out on the way
@@yoursilly2106 Aint that what beta is for?
@@PCgamerzone a beta for couple days is nothing compared to a game being fully released and operational with thousands of players playing for a year... comon bruh use ur brain
If they added gear with skill modifiers, or even better, ARPG style skill trees for weapons, it would be incredible
The new player experience is so good now. The game has really come a long way. Free expansion and no monthly sub are awesome
New World is so close to the perfect MMO for me, I just want like six more things:
Lol perfect? Your standards are low af.

The raid boss preview is the Halloween event boss, which is a fun fight. The game has come a very long way.
How has it come a long way? Tried it the other day. Felt exactly the same as when I quit like a year ago.
@@johnhill762 u probs played for 5min and did nothing
Halloween boss isn't a raid boss, it's just an open world boss. The sandworm will be the first raid boss in the game, its attacks and stats are already in the game files
@@johnhill762 Less grind, fewer annoyances, more end game content. Does the game still have issues? Sure. But they are fixing things at a good pace.
Very fun. Just like cookie clicker 😆 brainless mouse1
The nice thing about this game and the reason revamping things work is that unlike wow, there are reasons to go back to old zones
Don't expect to get picked for wars unless you have 620gearscore and play a meta weapon combo/build
Might jump back in for the raid when it drops
But it still feels like a very shallow game.
i came back the game is still boring with no endgame content that is worthwhile.
@@tokestarlive8394 Mutated dungeons scaling difficulty and modifiers from level 1 - 10. Similar to wow Mythics. Leaderboards for that inbound as well. Trials/PVE Arenas. Raids confirmed on the way with 10-20min groups. PvP track, arenas added. Open world (now cinematic) questing. That’s enough endgame for me in a game I don’t pay a sub for.
Playing new world again, just got to say, it's much improved!
(I was also crazy enough to start over from a lvl 60 with 400hrs +)
wow. So many changes. Excited to jump in for fresh start!
Oh wait... :D haha
player bases drop when the weather is good. I don't game during the spring and summer. I only game during bad weather when I don't want to be outside.
Came back after months to play the new player experience and it's been amazing. Also waiting for Fresh Start and I'll do it again :D
when does the fresh start start?
What is fresh start? Everything's being wiped?
Switched from ESO console (PS5) to New World and I play with a controller... having a blast
I don’t think having seen all the update has to offer is a bad thing. I mean think of a game like runescape. The updates are singular quests or singular bosses/raids. Not every update is adding an entire continent to the game like when they added Zeah, which pretty much doubled the size of the game.
Are we just going to ignore that epic skillshot at 13:54 ?
Good job ;)
This is awesome, thats a shit ton of new content, im really happy to see that they are sticking with it! I gota pick it up now
I would REALLY love if they'd bring back PvP scaling and maybe even add PvP Servers (maybe as an option for the fresh start servers?)
The launch experience was SO much fun with open world pvp skirmishes everywhere, but when they removed the scaling less and less people had pvp enabled... which is understandable of course. I'm a bit salty that they seem to have done a 180 on the whole pvp focus sandbox and are now more going into an pve themepark style. Of course I agree good pve content is great to have, but pleaseee at least have the scaling in instanced pvp (OPR and arena) 😫
That shit would bring me back in an instant
Arenas have gear scaling.
I love how every time I see a notification of a new video from you I immediately switch do that. I always look forward to your videos! A channel by a gamer for gamers.

Great video, always like what you have to say. Definitely no shortage of games out there, my backlog is unreal, bought an external HD and have 63 games installed right now
Excited for the "Fresh worlds". Cant even feel comfortable playing on servers that had SOOOOO many exploits.
but if the exploits are not fixed and remain, it's useless to have a "fresh" server.
It took AGS losing 98% of their playerbase for them to realize that they needed to step up their game, severely. :D
Also, when it comes to open world content, AGS could take a Page (or Two) from Arena Net.

That's was my exact experience. 200hrs level 51. And just couldn't keep pushing
Coming back now with these fresh start servers
14:33 - 15:25 Explains why I didn't bother with this game and why Ashes of Creatin will struggle if they don't offer PVE only Servers. I have never seen this style of system be good in anything. Before anybody gets tight if you enjoy the game keep playing it.

Amazing video explaining the updates and changes to NW!! I've been playing it since closed beta and stopped after a few months due to end game content...the winter event wasn't even entertaining enough for me to fully go back but this update you touched on has made me want to go back and take it slow LMAO. I might just say fuck it and start over since the whole new player experience is so much better especially the storage system across zones.
I have just bought the game, that 20 EUR deal was way to sweet to let it pass, and honestly, I haven't even followed what happened to the game, but they clearly worked on it based on what I've just heard and seen since, and its pretty entertaining. I hope Amazon won't shut it down in the near future.
Thanks for this. Sounds like they addressed most of the reasons I left early this year. Going to give it another shot.
@@johnhill762 If you think they haven't adressed anything you simply don't have the clue about the state of the game. But ye, keep shitting on game you don't know anymore ;-)
Tried playing it again a few days ago and had some major rubberbanding, which I didn't experience before.
The surge in returning players if you played on Brimstone release. Has calmed on my server.
I just started playing the game again and decided to start a new character. Should I return to my original character and wait for the fresh start server to level up a new character?
Brimstone patch feels great man! Glad to see you put out some new world coverage again!
Hey @forcegaming did you try the new world aerteneum beta this weekend just gone? If so did you like the changes?
The main bug they need to fix with this game... Now.. I don't know if it's my config or not. But there's even an unsolved thread about it on the New World Forums... The game crashes if I have Chrome open at the same time as playing New World. If I only have NW open... No issues... If I have Chrome open on the side. I'll crash within 10 minutes. Sometimes a crash to desktop with a "Driver Error" popup, or "Suspicious Program or Corrupt Install" in-game popup that kicks me to main menu in-game

I mean very few MMOs haven't had a messy launch. Nearly all of the top ones slipped on a banana at launch.
Its so good they have made all these changes. They really have been trying hard and have fixed a lot of issues that were there. its great to see
im still having fun :3
Great video but this is from the perspective of a “casual” new world player, you get the MSQ done you do some side quests and new dungeon call it a day for the new zone. For the “hardcore” fan base there’s so much more to do, maxing your Enead codex for mutations, farming gear & materials for runeglass gems & heartgems. Getting all ancient glyphs for chests around the map to hopefully get golden scarabs. The list goes on…
Hardcore players always have problems in MMOs because the content isn't infinite.
after all the early server issues, then the gold & gear exploits, rent & travel costs raised to silly levels, war lag exploit issue, weapons unbalanced, then the big changes with the gear score, it just demoralised many players as the play experience seemed broken in different ways every week or 2... some will be back, its a good game
It's funny to see
The new instance is rly fun, it feels more close to what WoW/FFXIV delivers. Finally a tank is neccessary and people have to care about mechs. Makes me hopeful for the future cause I was afraid it's gonna become a ungabunga spamfest only
Is it true they reworked the questing ? I may re- install and start fresh
The new quest for the newer people will level them up faster . Map look different in some places i like the new update.
There was a 1.5XP boost for 2 weeks be4 Brimstone launched. That made getting to 60 very easy.
Played it from day 1. Played like 2 days ,didnt like it back then. Redownloaded a few days ago, created a new char, and must say im liking the game and the changes they did ! Its a solid fun game
Yo Force, that ad segment sounded super indifferent xD
That sigh was peak though
I'm going for the fresh start myself
Please also remember that console players might be interested in mouse / keyboard or gamepad / keyboard (for chat) like desktop players. There was a mouse for PS1 and gamepads for desktop. Nowadays, we have FFXIV with keyboard/mouse and gamepad on both PC and console like Call of Duty. Everyone need to open their minds ! Devs and players alike !
The Halloween boss is probably more of a glimpse of raid type encounters.

One of my wishlist for New World is to make fishing ore relevant if you chose to do it
The issue with that, is it would be very easy to exploit with bots.
@@jaredl1491you're right, but to counter them you could have better fish unlocked at higher higher fishing levels like the other professions.
Also could move the hotspots, but keep them within the 20m area, that way it's not in the exact X/Y/Z position, but keeping it in the fishing area.
Fishing is also only worthwhile at level 60 as the gear is far superior, bots are getting deleted before then, now I think
Can you level with friends yet? Or still have to run for hours to level with each other or rely on rng to spawn at the same place?
Logged on to my old account to get the Halloween costumes and now just waiting until fresh start, and I know a ton of peeps waiting for FS. Should be a dope time!
how's the world structured in this game? like traditional zones that require a certain level or does everything scale to you like in gw2 or teso for example?
fresh start server?! when and how do i learn more about this cuz id love to jump back into new world
Not only does it make sense from a gamepad standpoint, but also from a monetization stand point.
If I start playing this, should I wait for fresh start servers or roll onto existing servers?

I feel like this update was made specifically for a "relaunch" tbh, which makes sense with the fresh start servers coming out
I’m level 25 and I stopped playing, should I make a new character and start fresh or continue with my current character?
The end game was like 30 hours. Of course, I did all of the quests. Didn't want to miss anything, absolutely loved this dlc.
So, is it mostly the same game until you reach the end game zone brimstone?

I’ve been playing since launch despite all the issues. I have to say this patch is pretty much a 10/10. It’s not 100% perfect but I’m having so much fun playing right now. AGS did an amazing job with this update and if they can keep this up they’re definitely on their way to having a top 5 MMORPG competing with the likes of ff14 and WoW.
10/10 is 100% perfect bro 😂
@@JoeyBK_86 I suppose he meant the patch being 10/10 but the game still not being 100% perfect.
