You seem to think that the red variants of the weapons are the “strongest” versions and the previous variants become inert. This could not be farther from the case, you should use all variants of every weapon.
Not necessarily true about using all weapons. Some do tend to be worse than others, or with less use cases, and keeping weapons you don't use equipped can make it more annoying to get style, or clutter your play cycling through weapons you don't use
@@hsunfish you’re missing the point. I’m saying that he only has the red weapons equipped with the mindset that they are meant to be upgrades. Regardless of the meta or individual playstyles, you’re meant to use more than just the red weapons.

i have noticed that the red weapons are "good" because they can do the most, even though green usually is the highest damage, and blue usually being the most versitile. (the railcannon is weird)
Everyone has their preferences and uses what they wanna use. Personally, I bought the Sharpshooter before Limbo and mainly used it against everything, just kinda leaving the Marksman in the dust. I still prefer the Sharpshooter, even tho the Marksman is "technically" better from a stat standpoint
Hey, everyone is telling you to do stuff, just remember to prioritize enjoying the game your way. Also to learn tech i recommend reading weapon & enemy descriptions at the terminal.
Ultrakill players trying not to backseat:
Not gonna lie, seeing him spam the red nailgun is really funny.
Like i know it doesn't have the dps of the other 2 variants (without the electric wire) but it has infinite ammo... What many expected from the og.
quick lil tip, you can use the old weapons you bought still since they're also powerful, like the marksman, right click to flip a coin and shoot the coin for the bullet to deflect to the nearest enemy, you can chain the coin too. you can read up on what the other weapons can do to learn more about them!
this game is amazing, and no matter what anyone else in the comments says, play the game HOWEVER you want. i have 640 hours in this game and while i personally care about weapon swapping, you play the game however you find most fun and digestable. i hope you enjoy it!
Here's a cool fact: Lots of the weapons (and even your fist) have synergy with each other, and sometimes they result in some pretty insane combos.
Here's a few good ones to start with, but there are plenty more to find if you look for them:
1. Using the feedbacker, you can parry you're own shotgun bullets.
2. The magnet from the blue nailgun works with all types. Hit an enemy with a magnet and switch to the red nailgun to have a much easier target.
3. The coins from the marksman work with ANY hitscan projectile, whether that be your's or an enemy's. The important fact though is that if you shoot a coin with the raincannon, it will autoaim and be guaranteed to hit an enemy.
Just one misunderstanding, you can cycle between each variant by pressing E, each variant can be equipped (red, blue, green all through)

Actual gun craft should be a common mechanic in the shooter genre. Weapon interraction leading to cool shit is always a plus.

ive played the game for a while but its important to remember: go at your own pace
if you don't enjoy strategy suggestions from people, you have zero obligation to do it
dont backseat lol
also i like how death by glamour syncs up with minos eyes popping lol

just a something i noticed though, you should use all variants of the guns that you get, none of them are direct upgrades to the last (usually), and they usually also have cool combinations which'll you'll like, and besides, switching guns fast (even variants) = faster reloads = more damage and who doesn't like more damage :]

Btw you can punch your bullets (with the blue arm only)
You can reflect a lot of things using your punch, one of them is your shotgun bullets :)
I am both eternally depressed he never used the Marksman and unfathomably happy he DID use the Sharpshooter (best gun fight me.)

Tbf, the marksman is a bitch to get used to at first. But it becomes one of your most powerful weapons once you get it.
you re now a part from the ultrakill community but a quick tips, you should use marksman, it s the best weapon in this game and those coin flip are sick, also it target ennemies weak point and deal additionnal dammage
You can parry enemies when they flash yellow.

press right click with the markman revolver and shoot the coin
I know you’ve gotten like hundreds of comments saying this but. Be sure to use your weapon. If you continue to use one variant you wont gain as much style and eventually you’ll stop gaining it all together.
If you don’t intend on using a certain weapon unequip it so you it doesn’t hurt your style multiplier (sorry if this backseating I just wanna help)
Are you doing a red variant only run? You know you can swap anytime at any moment right?

Things you need to improve on:
swap your arms with G oh my lord
use the other variants and their special abilities
red is not the best weapon
have fun (you should get p on every level in Prelude and ACT I :troll: )
use marksman, its the most powerful weapon in the game (coins are)
if you make a part 2 please dont just pkay the same song all 12 minutes! ultrakill has an insane soundtrack and playing just the 1st song is wasted potential imo. either way nice vid and i hope u learn more about this game

looking at all the other comments i dont think anyone would have the slightest idea ive played this game before. your claims about me being familiar with certain aspects probably has to do with aim, which is transferred over from other games
