looking back, this game doesn't seem AS hard as I remember, though that might just be the speedrun talking. And the fact that I was 4 years old when i first played it on my neighbours Win3.1 PC XD Really glad they're bringing it back with the arcade thing, really hope a new generation of people will play this classic, and that nostalgia will hit the older folk who replay it.
Thanks for the speedrun, great strats, lots of close calls, especially during the last few levels! I made it to the last level as a kid (and that took ages), but wasn't able to kill the green dude.
Daniel's Game Vault Cool! The Genesis & SNES music did have its perks (with custom sound samples). I find the midi music in the PC version very catchy, but maybe that's because that was the version I played as a kid.
I also played the DOS version first, but after giving the Gens version a shot I sort-of fell in love with the soundtrack. Don't know why though, it's that bassy sound of the Gens that I like I guess :D
Meh, why not just say it´s a multi segment speedrun when it is. The textboxes there is(like last level) match after a death textboxes. You can also see textboxes when TAS plays this game. Anyway really nice strats on many of the levels.
this is such a great example to show how much more difficult but also rewarding games were back then.

어릴적 Dos 게임을 하던 기억이 되살아나는 멋진 영상입니다. 감사합니다.
Tomator never knew what hit him. Some really close shaves in this speedrun, very entertaining.
I didn't turn it off - I just tapped the space bar really fast to skip any dialogue
I remember this !!!!! :) great run man
Very awesome, thanks for sharing the memories. How come the music is different? The PC version I had used midi music.
I added the one from the Genesis version. For some reason I like it better.

Daniel's Game Vault I do like the "HUAH!"s - that one sample that is mixed into a lot of the songs that sounds like vikings shouting.
This game is brilliant.
17:40 use arrows 3times instead of 2times
26:36 - Dr Eggman's base?
How do you turn off the chat/dialog in the DOS version?
I wonder too
