I've watched the SXS folks run trails and can't imagine the amount of money invested in some of those machines. Then I watch this and it seems just as much fun with just a fraction of what SxS's cost plus upgrades. The comradery is great.
Thanks for stopping in and dropping a note. Roll bars have been contemplated on several occasions. Have found they get in the way of tractoring under and around things. Example driving around a tree on a side hill or under a rock ledge. Being jammed is no fun.
Really enjoying your videos, seems the trails you go on are very much like we have here in Scotland. You were mentioned in a video I watched about drilling the pulleys to release mud. You you mind telling me what size pulleys you use. I've a 2000 Murray widebody with a new 17hp B&S or 344cc. Thanks for recording these excellent trails
Oh man thank you, much appreciated. You guys have trails in Scotland, that's awesome. The holey pulley is a huge bonus for belt traction. I found out the other day, they used them in garden tractor pulling back in the 60's and 70's Pulley sizes try 7-5. (7 on the motor)
I would have to have a foot throttle for my tractor when I build it I’ve been driving tractors since I was 3 years old I don’t have one right now nore do I know how to build them at the time but I’m definitely going to learn they are so much fun to drive I’m going to build a sears tractor so I can have a foot throttle and have a brake pedal next to it the throttle will be mounted higher to the side and the brakes will be mounted low next to it I live in Florida I’m also going to have an atv so I have the best of both worlds I subscribed this channel is awesome tractors rock
@@MrStudabaker I would have to have it on my right foot just like it is on my car that way I’m used to it the good thing about making a tractor is you can have it any way you want and that’s what makes them so cool they are your custom creations and that’s the way we like it
@@MrStudabaker nothing wrong with that I’m thinking about doing a sears but I really want a wheel horse but the only only wheel horse tractors I see are in mint condition with everything all original but I might say screw it and get a wheel horse like that with the original tractor tires I won’t keep the mower deck but I would definitely add a predator v twin and gas pedal but I wouldn’t add too much if I go for a wheel horse like that but it’ll definitely be a while before I build I’ll first have to get my truck pay off a few things and chud 327 I’m subscribed to his channel he lives really close to me I’ll have him help set up my shop and teach me how to build I’ve got to learn mechanics but at least i have somebody close that would probably help

Haha wheel horses and sears all day. Cubs not a drop. I like going 30mph less tire shake. You'll need 2 gallons per front tire. Most guys use winter driving washer fluid.
@@MrStudabaker I was wondering how to swap front wheel bushings to make them fit.I picked up a dif set of front wheels and they don’t fit. Also is it a bad idea to do a foot throttle on a shaft drive cub?
Any tips on making the foot throttle? I recently took my carb off and cleaned and reinstalled and my throttle doesn’t look like it has all the correct springs and has a hard time returning to idle.I was hoping a foot throttle would help alleviate this problem
Highly modified versions of said brands. Dare I say this is going to make me sick wheel horse and sears. Cubs rule. The rest drool. Cause they can't hahahaa oh wait...hey thanks for stopping in.

You guys hands down are the most talented off road tractor drivers out their!
Love it! Awesome interview.
Seemed like the thing to do.
This is one of best videos too !! Weather made it and some insane driving racing point this had it all keep them coming

Awe I love it! Thanks for sharing
Love sharing the memories.
You did a great job on this edit, I love the quick high intensity action shots that leave you wanting more
Thank you Carl, Tried out a new format;)
Always amazed at what you can do with just 2WD on these. A 4x4 tractor would be unstoppable.
Never looked into a 4wd tractor mod. Any ideas as to procede.
