The live version is from Tampere...and it's just a good as this video! I loved the comment about "glueing Emppu to the chair!". It had me laughing....although Emppu is so small they could have used some Velcro to keep him the chair! 😂😂😂 He is a brilliant guitarist...so it's okay if he decides to run around the stage!!
Yes, a reaction to a live version would be really appreciated 😄 but I like this studio version too! Simple but nonetheless effective and nice to look at. The non-stop camera movement adds to the lyrics. Oh and don't miss the single premiere in 3 days of their new album Human. :||: Nature. 😉✌
the mechanical stuff in the music video is steampunk elements the build of this song everything about this says banger but this album is one after another so much cool variety in songs and all the sounds that make up these absolutely stunning compositions of music and this album came out in 2015 you can see and hear where they are creatively as artists and as professional and extremely talented talk about making my heart melt the symphonics on this song and this album and the sounds they incorporate in their music the choir the horns flutes
I think if eurovision was a really song contest, this one can win this easly. Its, pop but hard, with interesting lyrics and instrumental parts. How always amazing.
@@Rikitikisiki Thats a SERIOUS limitation and they better be called "short clips" rather than songs... I don't agree with such limitation. Today, 3mins are maybe average song duration (plus minus) meaning some 50% not meeting this criterion, and thus unallowed. Also, this incurs that most songs need to be specifically designed for the contest, and that means it is in weak connection with real life... I lost interrest with that "show" long ago.

Nightwish did compete in the finals for the spot of Finland's submission in 2000 with "Sleepwalker" (the Japanese edition Wishmaster bonus version, not the heavier version from Deep Silent Complete), but although they won the public vote, the jury decided to send the other group instead. 🤦
Well...wait still you see the new video on friday...I can't wait...but whatever Tuomas writes and Floor is singing is absolutely wonderful. They haven't done this song live only a few times but in Tampere they did...so check that out it is great. If you haven't done Creek Mary's Blood from End Of An Era with Tarja I highly recommend that one ( the 8 min video) it is an amazing song, and I think you'll be in for a surprise.

I know it's heresy to like Nightwish music videos, but at the risk of running afoul of official dogma...I like it :D I also like the steampunk CGI masterpiece "The Islander" (with first video appearance by Troy) from the director of the upcoming "Noise" video (coincidentally or not, also steampunk-y), as well as the rather Gothic video for "Nemo". I even enjoy the "Élan" video! Gasp!😱 Excuse me while I go put on my asbestos suit... I have an appointment with the Stake ;-)

I’ve like Nightwish for over 20 years and never could understand why they weren’t globally bigger, and I think the Nightwish army feels the same, that is why they give so much attention and support to people just discovering this band. I do like the video, but they look so "tame"haha and i do think Floor and marko's voices don't come out as great on studio as live. But still great reaction guys, and yes check out the live at Tampere :) More amazing. I get the impression that Empuu wasn't feeling great at the time (perhaps a bad back) because he winces a bit while he's playing. Seems to be better now though. Floor's outfit is the same as in the Tampere concert which was part of the "Endless forms most beautiful" tour.

If you do any more reactions with Annette, official videos are the way to go. There’s no good way of saying it, but she just sucks live. Besides her voice being too high for most of their songs, it almost makes me cringe seeing how uncomfortable the band looks when she’s performing. It like they can’t wait until it’s over.
