It is. And also it’s a message that beauty is subjective. You could be ugly to one person but beautiful to another person. It’s all about perspective. For example: I find women with a caring and bubbly personality attractive and I don’t care about how much she weighs or any of that bullcrap. To me what’s attractive is authenticity and seeing you have a nice personality. I don’t want to date a bitch or be treated like 💩 😅

I think any weight or body shape is beautiful as long as you’re healthy and happy
Honestly, society sucks. And we know this. As a big girl all my life, you're told horrendous things even by parents, and it affects you even in adulthood. But once you find your footing in life and what you love, it doesn't matter. But never forget to take care of yourself in the meantime. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. If you're skinny, people assume you're on something or have an eating disorder. If you're fat, people assume you're lazy and unwilling to change. We don't know everyone's story. But of course people still judge and we can't change that. But, i learned that after so many years of dealing with body dysmorphic disorder, I'm literally not here to impress people or gain approval. As long as I'm doing good and looking after myself, I'm doing OK. It's ok to not look like everyone else. It's ok to self express. Never forget that you're worthy ❤

The definition of beautiful is “possessing qualities that give pleasure to the senses or mind” which is something subjective therefore it’s impossible to say that all bodies are beautiful. People are gorgeous…. Perfectly flawed. Stop worrying about how you look to others, and worry about how you wanna feel for yourself. When I stoped worrying about how I looked and acted for others a lot of people stopped talking to me but I’ve never had more fun in my life than I’ve had with the people who have stayed. Stopped working out to bulk up and started working out for my job, I talk to people more and laugh at my own jokes. Eat what I want and do what I want… in reason. But I feel more alive than ever. Like the definition of living is to *live*

Look I've been called ugly my entire life, did think about plastic surgery a lot when I was in school but decided against it as failure is a possibility. So I accepted that I was ugly, I didn't blame my parents I just drew the short straw in genetics since my parents and siblings are beautiful. I was jealous but never resentful because I learned that even beautiful people have problems, problems I excel at, I have more talent and skills than everyone in my family combined. I may never find someone to love me and my looks but at least I know business and how to fix every electronic around. Not to mention I'm also the most physically strong too, though it's a bit of a low since this only involves my family but I want to be proud of who I am since I'm ashamed of how I look.

“Don’t care about others” that sounds like selfishness and careless next to me. You should care about other people because we are all people on earth and we all are worth it. And no what I think of myself is not the only thing that matters because when people think bad of me, it affects their actions towards me and they treat me badly and it makes me miss out on opportunities which I can’t get by myself because other people are the ones running them, such as university or jobs. I can’t Get far in life, if at least the people who count have at least a neutral opinion about me.
There have been times when being skinny represented being poor, too unable to afford proper food, as well as was often associated with manual labor. Now, being thin is a sign of beauty and wealth since a lot of the celebrities we compare ourselves to spend thousands on surgery to get said bodies. Society’s idea of beauty is ever changing, but our own compass inside will never lead you astray if you believe in yourself and your ability to grow and learn to love yourself.
If only people would realize that we curvey girls are yet another form of beauty.
Basically the way I take from this story is no matter who you are you are beautiful and also the story does connect to me in a peculiar kind of way if I would have known back around 10th grade 2008 of how much weight I would have gained and me not being very confident in myself and having issues because of how my adopted parents raised me more like my adopted mother and biological great aunt I wouldn't have become obese and I wouldn't have had issues with my health I've had to realize that I'm beautiful how I am but I also tried to eat right try to get enough exercise even if that means just walking around the apartment my point is I try but I'm still trying to lose weight for me it's a reminder the story of that gaining weight just because someone more like because it's a trend to be heavy set and then to be skinny that means that you need to do what's right for you if you're happier skinny then being heavy set then do everything you can to achieve your goal my advice is to be careful about what you eat the reason why I became obese is because of not just drugs messing with my body and causing me to gain weight but also stress and the hormone known as cortisol and my own peculiar things that happened when I was younger that exacerbated me gaining weight and is a part of the reason why I'm still trying to lose weight life gets kind of chaotic and stuff happens life happens do what makes you happy if you're happy and not miserable being skinny but not being anorexic another words looking like a skeleton and the polar opposite as well if you were heavily obese not just like 200 or 300 lbs but worse that's also not good I can tell you from the things that cause me to gain weight that the bones between my feet the cartilage and my knees and basically between every bone the cartilage in between throughout my body even up into my neck going from my feet all the way to my neck and where it connects to my head I have to deal with the fact that my body makes all kinds of peculiar noises when enough of a certain thing I think it's hydrogen but it might be something else that starts the h anyways I know that the word that I'm looking for starts with the h basically if you've ever popped your knuckles is what I'm trying to say my feet all the way up to where my neck and head connect basically because I gained weight and my body doesn't like it and especially gravity doesn't help either has caused a whole lot of health issues as well my advice for everyone is to love your body to love and respect yourself life gets kind of crazy life gets kind of chaotic but still you need to be able to take care of yourself basically what would be considered self-care and self-love also another thing some people have to be reminded even when they're having a pretty bad day that they are beautiful you don't have to gain weight just to have someone love you do what's best for you and what empowers and inspires you be yourself and not change just because of a trend or someone else saying that you should look a certain kind of way don't get me wrong I know everything's getting super expensive which does tend to complicate things just know that because it's towards the end of the month and paycheck hasn't come in yet that a lot of people are like you or they're just barely have enough money to do anything with inflation that makes everything a lot worse my dad has a lot more money left in the bank than I do so for now I have to wait until the next month to have money to do stuff and buy groceries and things anywho like everybody else I'm just trying to get by any who y'all have a blessed day❤.
