HONESTO UNO no, they are actually more resistant than other succulents to mealy hugs and aphids. I never had gnats in aloe pots. Gnats are indicator of wet soil. Just decrease watering and they will disappear. I leave aloe Vera for two months without water at time 😂. Allows prefer to be dry longer than other succulents.

If i'm not mistaken aloe mites are one of the pest of aloe species that once infected it will stay there forever
I found for aloe and gasteria succulents will dry up with too much direct sunligh, east west or even north window,hope that helps!
