I went to Airborne school as a private in 2000. And while in hold-over company I got detailed to JM school as one of the 3 "jumpers" for the jmpi evaluation. I never saw so many nervous NCOs and officers. It was fun because obviously I knew the gigs ahead of time. The old JM cadre instructed us to drop the ruck sack on the student's head if they were too hasty or not clear on the "Squat and hold" command. Good times at a tough school.
