I tried the other method and I did get roots but your tips will help me be more successful. This is a good idea when you are about to prune anyway. Thanks.😮
HEY Bernadette!!!! I'm glad you got roots.ill see what I get in 30 plus days! I'm glad the tips are going to help you. Yes, I did not prune the branches I needed too but now they will be trees. So it works out. You are welcome, my friend!
I learned this at Rutgers, but I don't think they called it "chili dog"! Now I know. It works so well! We used the hormone and I have a beautiful rubber tree but if I had fruit trees I would try it on those. Thanks for the clear instructions, the good video and audio quality. You make it easy to learn.
HEY @Krystofeliska!!! Cool. I checked one of my branches and I saw no roots. I hope the others start growing. I wonder if the high temps dried up the soil. I hope they take. Everyone loves it and likes the results. I am glad the instructions were clear. I'm glad I invested in the audio. I appreciate your comment.
@GrowSomethingTasty we cut a slit in the plastic at the top and watered it whenever it looked dry. But would squeeze out excess. But yeah that high heat doesn't help u I'm sure! We were in a university greenhouse situation so we had that advantage.
HEY, Harry!!! Cool, yes, this is a real thing. You can produce several trees from just one. I did not prune like I should have last year. I'm not down with that tree either. You have to do this method when it's warm, so it's good to know what branches need to be pruned. I normally prune in winter. I hope they all take but I don't know where to put them. LOL! You are welcome, my friend!
I’ve created a second wisteria plant. The chili dog method works great. Thanks for sharing.😊🌱
HEY ClausenWorld!!!! That is great, I hope I did it right so i can get more trees.
@@GrowSomethingTasty Hey Bear.👋🏽👋🏽 You did a fine job. Good luck.😊👊🏽🤞🏽
I didn't know you had an air layering video, sweet.
HEY!!! I do but I checked 2 weeks ago and no roots. I hope I get some. I did it exactly as I was told.
