Historic Fire Station #8 is 82 years old this month

Historic Fire Station 8 was opened on the 1st of July 1942. It became an office in the late 1980s, and by 1994 was placed on the National Register of Historic Places. It serves as a small museum, a meeting space and is the Phoenix Fire Department's historical research center. It is operated by the Phoenix Fire Department and United Phoenix Fire Fighters- Local 493, and is available for tours by appointment at [e-mail].
