- My truck is arguably the most important part of my entire EDC (everyday carry). That is, its the tool most likely to get me out of a situation. You should keep a hitch on the back of your truck. If someone rear ends you, it’ll help protect your truck. As a law enforcement officer I investigated hundreds of motor vehicle accidents and in cases of low speed rear collisions the truck fairs a lot better that the vehicle that hit them. Just a tip.
