I'm saying this as a guitar player.
While the guitar players in DragonForce are amazing I don't think the drummer get much credit.
The people who wrote and own the song can play the song at full speed, don't listen to the fucking owl over here. Not to take away from your original comment, as the percussionists for most metal/rock bands are just as talented as the guitarists.
Just wanted to point out discrepancies when I see them.
Fun fact, one of the lead guitarists for Dragonforce broke his guitar when they recorded the song the first time.

Their drummer is a trooper for sure LOL. I have no idea how he plays that hard for so long... Or any crazy bands drummers for that matter. I have seen trivium and Black Daliah Murder (Or however it is spelled) live and their drummers go and GO and GOOOOOO!!! XD
Their drummers should receive a lot of credit, considering that they've had 5 of them (kept changing) as their career continued. They all do well at what they do.

cool thing is that there isnt a best drummer out there! :D I can definitely respect how much fun he's having though and he is not bad by any means. one of my favorites right now is Matt Garstka, he is actually a wizard on drums and he doesnt even play very fast. i recommend his video for Arithmaphobia :)

They say the guitar line is intense, but I don't feel the drummer gets enough credit. It may be only about 200 bpm, but that's still _freaking insane_ for as long as this song is.
Songs like this are why I have a personal scale of "hard(core)ness" based not on how hard the guitarist is shredding it (well, not _entirely_), but by how close the drummer's arms and legs get to breaking the sound barrier.

Playing drums blindfolded is pretty easy if you know your drumkit setup well enough, in our youth church, we have a drummer who knows the setup of the drumkit so well he can play any song blindfolded, cause you don't have to see the drums if they are always in the same place for every song, same goes for pianists who know the song to a point where they can pay without chords or sheets, same with pretty much any instrument that has keys, holes, buttons or something like that where you have a 12-tone scale with every note beeing played the same every time, instruments with strings like the violin for example are much harder to play blindfolded, but what i'm more impressed with are blindfolded guitar hero songs or blindfolded osu or pretty much any game like that, because you really have to memorize or youse your mucle memory for each song on it's own, because you can't play by ear with those games, and the same note in the song doesn't always have to be played the same way in another song, on the drumkit he has the same toms, the same hihat, the same snare drum, the same cymbals and the same bassdrum for every song, so i'm not that impressed about his skill of playing songs blindfolded, but far more impressed by his skill to play along pretty much any song he hears for the first time, and btw, sorry about my bad english i'm from germany

Why would playing the violin blindfolded be hard? Most violin players don't look at their hands anyway (and that goes for most orchestra instruments, you have to look at the sheets after all) and you see solo violinists close their eyes while playing all the time.
On the other hand playing the piano blindfolded can be hard if you have big jumps from high to low or low to high. As long as the notes are close by its easy, since you can use the nearby keys as a reference point, but for big jumps over several octaves it's a lot harder to estimate.
The blindfolded bit isn't what's particularly impressive, it's the cover.
