I've said this over & over again. Jerry Reinsdorf doesn't care about the Bulls becoming a winning franchise ever again. Jerry Reinsdorf is the King of gaslighting. All Jerry Reinsdorf cares about are Bulls tickets sales & merchandise. The moment Bulls fans stop caring & stop buying tickets & merchandise, that's the only time that Jerry Reinsdorf will truly care about making necessary changes ever again. As long as Bulls fans continue to use their own 💰 to continue to make the Bulls #1 every year, Jerry Reinsdorf will not care. Bulls fans have to stop supporting this organization in order for the Bulls to truly become successful again. As much as it pains me to say this, Bulls fans may have to go through another era like the Tim Floyd era if we ever want to see the Bulls truly battle for a Championship ever again.
I've thought the same for a long time, but unfortunately a lot of the fanbase are gullible, naive and easily manipulated, relying on false hope after false hope that this team will get anywhere fruitful in the next five years, it's the carrot on a stick situation, reinsdorf, b.d and AK say enough to keep all the fans reeled in and the fans keep believing their rubbish, then when they don't deliver everyone whinges on social media like it was unexpected,. It's a vicious cycle that will never end unless heads are cut off at the bulls hq or if the fans genuinely say enough and protest until changes are made
Yea you nailed it. Unless we get lucky we aint winning shit with reinsdorfs as owners again. They still riding the gravy train MJ cooked them 30 years ago….
It took the greatest player of all time to lead the Chicago Bulls to championship success. It took a #1 pick and youngest MVP of all time to make a EC final. I totally agree. I really like our team but for us to get to the top of the mountain again. We have to strike gold and get lucky in the draft or one of our developing players to turn into a super star hall of famer and MVP. I think Jerry thinks we are a happy fan base because the Bulls sell the most season tickets and we keep buying the merchandise. Totally agree Haize. This team could be very good if Jerry just got with the times 2023!
Glad you took shots at the Reinsdorks. hopefully this video gets to them. I don't see us ever winning titles under the reinsdork, they wont spend like the clippers owners, like the GSW owners, like lebron led team owners to get that last piece to the pie to get us over
I think we have less than 10 years left with this ownership. Jerry is 87 and he has his three kids. They will need to sell one or both of the teams when he is no longer around. I think based on previous comments he'll definitely be selling his stake in the White Sox as Jerry has mentioned in a 2013 Crains Chicago Business article. In 2020 Michael Reinsdorf was interested in purchasing a minority stake in the Sox. Jerry only owns the company that holds the shares for the investment group. There are somewhere close to 25 partial owners. The Bulls ownership structure is less clear but it's assumed the Reinsdorfs own much more of it, but likely have some investors with a minority ownership stake. They'll likely have to sell the Bulls as part of Jerrys estate unless all the kids already own a significant portion of the team and Michael remains chairman.
The Reinsdorf’s are billionaires. His kids won’t have to sell the teams at all. That’s the unfortunate part. He’s already begun transferring power to Michael with the Bulls.
@@ChiBullsCentral I agree but the power only extends to a company that Jerry owns. He himself still owns a majority of the Bulls. His remaining children will still want their piece of his ownership percentage. Michael will have little say in what happens to the other 66%. They can divide up hundreds of millions or sell and split billions. I'm betting on greed
I've been a bulls fan since 1981. That is a resounding yes. Do you think Jerry Buss would allow Michael Jordan to play for a different team? It's Jerry. Turn the team over to his son Michael and change will happen.
I think the team needs to be sold. Too many fingers in the ownership pie that need a piece. The Bulls make a lot of money but looking at gross revenue figures from last season it wasn't as much as some might think. The Bulls are not as profitable to Jerry as some might think. The figure is around 350m. Take 150m off the top for player salaries. Now consider the very high overhead of running an organization like the Bulls. I would think its a huge figure. From business accounts to "keeping the lights on" and employee salaries and benefits. Team travel, hotels, staff, coaches, doctors...the entire thing. Now take into consideration the Reinsdorf's own just 40%-50% of the team. The rest? Multiple "investors" I understand. And when you're dividing up profits between multiple owners...whatever PROFIT that may have been a lot of money to one or two owners becomes much less to many. So where as someone like Mark Cuban can look at his BIG profit from last season and burn some of it for next going into the tax, the Bulls don't have ONE person who can do that. I honestly think some of these "new era" billionaire owners don't care if they make a personal profit off their team. They love being associated with the NBA and are very much "owner-fans." Made their money elsewhere and bought a basketball team with it. Still making money elsewhere in some cases, too. Steve Balmer is worth 50b dollars. He and many like him dgaf😅They will spend. They're not going to waste money but they have much, much more than Jerry does to spend. Whether it's personal wealth or team assets. It like going back to the pie analogy. One person doesn't need a whole one. Hell give some away if you want. But if you got kids to feed...well....you know how that goes. The Bulls have too many kids to feed that aren't players and lack a primary provider to...provide more pie. Us fans? You guessed it. WE paid for the pie, get some crumbs, and the empty tin to fill up with cash and return for next season. So, luck it is. Hopefully next season will be our year. What bothers me about the Reinsdorf's is what was mentioned up top in the vid. They seem to take no pride in ownership or winning. I'm sure they could go into the tax...somehow...and still satisfy themselves and others. They're businessmen. They can get things done even if it means some personal financial sacrifice. "At what cost winning?" That's something they don't care to explore even a little.
I do think we need a new owner. I want the warriors owner or nuggets owner. They both drafted and developed there teams into contenders and developed dynasty's. Thats the type of owner I want. They also are both willing too pay money. Look how deep the warriors and nuggets are in salary cap. If we had a owner like those we could very well still have d. Rose, Jimmy butler, Wendall, lauri and Coby white, ayo and Patrick Williams. On top of that picks we lost. Imagine a lineup of 1. Rose, 2. Coby white, 3. Jimmy butler, 4. Lauri & 5. Wendall😁. Damn I would like that.
Unless there’s a miracle coming, the bulls will probably have the same ownership for another 10 years, but I truly hope that I’m wrong. I would love an owner like Cuban or either of the LA team owners, golden state too. Bulls nation pretty much has the one of the worst nba owners, when you compare to the rest of the league.
I’ve been said in the past that Jerry don’t give a fuck about what goes on during the game win or lose . All he cares about is the profits off ticket sales , parking , food and beer sales .

Do you think any big free agent in their prime will want to come here since everyone knows Jerry doesnt concern himself building a winner? Just to be good enough
Unfortunately spending into the luxury doesn't guarantee a championship but like Micheal Reinedord said, if we contending they'll pay the tax. They did it when Pau came here. Right now we are hampered with Lonzos contract since he's not playing...but unfortunately it is a business and it hurts. I wonder how does the other minority owners feel
I'd say we haven't seen positive things from Michael. They hired a bunch of people for the Bulls staff, spent money to hire AKME.. PaidDononvan,Lavine,Derozen,Lonzo. They spent money but the team is not like it should be because of our glue guy Lonzo being hurt
Bulls are a bad organization. If we take the emotion of being fans out of it and be honest. They got a break with Jordan and they are more than content to ride his wave as long as they can. The goal is not to compete for championships the goal is to give the appearance of being competitive while keeping the stadium full.
I think Bulls can't build contender with Zach on max contract either. Zach is 3 option on contender. How are we gonna get two players better than him with this owner? That is not realistic. We need to trade Zach for player who could become legit option 1!
