That's precisely why you should never trust anyone preparing your food that wear gloves. People think gloves have some magic power to kill bacteria and not spread germs as long as you wear them. Nevermind that the moment you touch chicken juice or rub your nose you need to toss those gloves, but who has time for that!

It causes you to touch things and not think about what's on your hands; whereas I instead just compulsively wash my hands before I touch food if I've even so much as walked 10 steps away from my prep table. Other people I see will answer phones, dig through drawers etc with gloves on and go straight back to cooking.
