GH was always noticeably different from everything else on ABC. It wasn’t created by Agnes and it was always filmed in California. It just felt different… and I never liked it. I think OLTL & AMC were more like mavericks to GH’s more traditional soap opera style.

Natalie never cheated on John, so not sure why you state Marty would not have cheated on John. Natalie and John were not together when she slept with Brody, and Brody thought he and Jessica were done. The only thing they did wrong was not tell them at the beginning, Jess and John might have been hurt, but they would have gotten over it, but Brody and Natalie lying for so long hurt Jess and John.
