WHAT IS NEWS TOWER?
In News Tower, you will follow some of the key moments of the 1930s , but it will be up to you whether to cover and even influence them.
It’s up to your reporters to beat the deadline to get the news while it’s hot. Time is money in News Tower!
Use your reporter’s favorite topics to send them searching for the right news to get it faster, or it might already be old news by the time they return. The more they cover a topic, the more experienced they get , allowing you to sharpen your editorial line.
Search for exciting news across the US and the world that matches your reader’s interest and editorial line.
Will you decide to publish gossip to satisfy your readers' thirst for sensational press, or will you always seek hard stories for the truth?
A lot of news offers different avenues of investigation, unveiling diverse versions of the story. Send your reporter down a path, but be mindful of the risk and rewards of each: poking your nose around the mafia may lead to “offers” that you can’t refuse…
Not everyone is in favor of the freedom of the press…

Hint: The first 4 reporters are guaranteed to come in complementary pairs. If you grab either the top two or the bottom two, you'll cover all 6 categories.
Also, you can reroll the people available to hire for a small fee.
Love the start on this. Fyi, you can manually drag and drop the paper and food from the street to your rack or specific stations, and move stories the same way to layout and assembly, and prioritize what articles the telegraphs look for. Hope to see a lot more!
Manually moving the stories around can shave hours off your final processing time. The AI can be stupid about how it moves stories between typesetters and assemblers and really add a lot of time to the processing. On the other hand it is a lot of micro managing and is tiring. After a playthrough where I really abused it, I now try to just let my employees run on automatic and try to make my layout more efficient.
I saw this the other day and it was on my list of things to look at. I wish I had enough time to play all these games, I will however live vicariously through these video series! Love the content, and the story.

I believe the paper supply just takes a little time to be delivered. Once it’s time to go to the presses, it’s too late to order it for that.

the delivery isn't instant, also if your Stoker is going to slow you can manually pick up the deliveries from the street and put it on the shelf

Looking forward to your playthrough of this one! I've had a lot of fun since it came out. Each playthrough I setup the office different/went down a different track, etc. I'm really excited for future updates like photography.

This game is amazing and I've been trying to find a full playthrough on youtube but I can't find one anywhere, only half finished playthroughs from a while back, I hope you can stick with it and probably be among the first to have a full playthrough documented!

This is a cool game. Skipping tutorial had me lost for a bit but can see how interesting it is to find the best story and rush to the presses!

Can confirm the newspaper press gets noisy. I worked at a daily newspaper more than two decades ago, back when printing was largely still done "in house."

Played the demo great game just a few kinks. But I highly recommend you start a series on this.
