8:01 .....Man that left hook that Whyte landed on Joshua shook him to his boots. Would have shook anyone to their boots, even Joe Joyce (especially after the aura of Joyce's granite chin was dealt a blow by Zhilie Zhang last week)
The former 2-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua looked a bit nervous for several rounds, like he was so insecure about his own weapons in the ring. Can be said somewhat understandably considering the pressure he wears on his shoulders after his two straight defeats to the skilled champion Oleksandr Usyk. While opinions may differ, I thought it was overall a weaker performance by Joshua as he looked very hesitant at times. He could have went for the KO but played it safe and realued on winning a decision contest. I believe his confidence is low and he really could have used a knock-out victory over Jermain Franklin as a booster. A.J seems to have regressed a bit and is now more “One Dimensional” than ever. Ever since his loss to Andy Ruiz Jr. back in 2019 he have been hesitant to let his hands go more often and seems hesitant to engage. Also I believe Usyk really did a mental number on him and that further have made Joshua regressed. All that muscle mass Joshua have, all that power - yet so little ring aggression. There is only one way to change this negative development for Joshua and that is simpley FIGHT ON. Joshua needs to book himself to be buissy in the ring with several more fights where he can regain his confidence in his abilities and build himself up. There is no other way for him. Joshua must stop being so selective in the ring and become more dedicated to his craft by fighting more often. 1-2 fights per year don't cut it. He needs a year with 5 fights where he is buissy against varied styles against decent enough opposition in different locations. That would be the ticket to fix him. The rest would be up to himself and taking care of his mentality.
What a load of horse, what exactly has he donefor the sport of boxing? One dimensional boxer, no skill, no decent headmovement, awful footwork. All he's every done is fight bums, as soon as he fights a half decent fighter he gets exposed and then throw a tantrum. Can't wait to see Fury/Wilder or Joyce knock him out cold
Execpt beating Klitsko, who has he beaten?????....the guys who can really fight he lost to....hè has done more for himself ...he's hyped and made a fortune based on nothing
He actually improved tbh. He didn’t gas out. He threw combos and didn’t need 10 rounds to get his energy back up. Maybe he didn’t gas out cause he was clearly the better fighter and dictated the fight but still a positive. Guy just needs that killer instinct tho. There was defo some of that against usyk 2 but he lost it again. Hopefully against a top level opponent like wilder he’ll find it because maybe he’ll take it more serious. He defo thought Franklin was a walk in the park, despite what he said on interviews.
It's easy to stay humble when you're winning. AJ learned it the hard way by losing. He was an overhyped boxer anyways. I do think an AJ vs wilderness fight might be good. Power and natural ability vs skill and finesse.
Huge fights that MUST be made in the next 2 years, or else boxing will become even more boring. 1. Deontay Wilder vs Anthony Joshua 2. Tyson Fury vs Olex Usyk 3. Francis Ngannou vs Deontay Wilder 4. Dillian Whyte vs Joe Joyce 5. Francis Ngannou vs Anthony Joshua
People forget that all the other heavyweights built themselves up slowly with knock overs especially after losses.. Aj never did this. He needs to keep taking smaller fights and improving under his new trainer just like lewis and Wlad did after getting Koed.
@@samsam-yz8nz heavyweights actually improve later in their careers all the fighters mentioned like Wlad, Lennox, Holyfield etc improved in Wlads case he was way over thirty and got knocked out multiple times by much lesser opponents and still improved. Study boxing.
He was very careful fighting Franklin. And didn't really mix it up. He was afraid of getting hit hard. And you really can't blame him. Andy tested his chin. And well you know how that went in the first fight. Wins the title back in the second. And two straight losses to a cruiser weight. His confidence has been crushed. Give him a couple easy fights. Build his confidence back up. He has all the tools anyone needs in spades. The man is scary to look at. But doesn't have that killer instinct. Like he did in his early years. He needs to light that fire again.
Let me ask you, how did Andy Ruiz test his chin? Ruiz didn't hit his chin, he hit behind his ear. That's not even the same part of the head. Pretending that is the same is not only hilariously stupid, it is obviously not correct. Not to mention it is one of those spots like the liver, that no matter how tough you are you get hit there you are done. It's not a test of your chin to get hit essentially in the back of the head. How do you type this out thinking you are being honest. You know who tested his chin? Dillian White and Vladimir Klitschko, and he won both fights by KO. His chin isn't suspect if he was able to come back and defeat both opponents, both known for heavy punching power.
He looked stiffer than ever in a very dull boxing bout full of clinching (Franklin) and holding the head while punching (Joshua). Better avoid the top guys like Fury, Joyce and Wilder for now. Rematch Whyte next maybe or get an easy fight with Ngannou lol?
I like AJ, seems like a good guy. He honestly 100% fact can't win against the best of best and he never could. He can't beat Deontay Wilder, Fury, Usyk, or about 10 other people. Tyson Fury is still the best fighter in that weight class hands down. AJ, not even in the converstation. That is my opinion.

LOL! People are so used to seeing AJ KO people. Unfortunately he can't use the same formula his entire career 😐 Eventually, he'll get to take the difficult fights we want to see.
Your videos are cool, mate.
But you should REALLY reconsider your sound design.
We're turning the volume down and up every few seconds... The super inconsistent volume is really annoying
Hate the hype around aj its like he does the minimum and everyone's going crazy franklin honestly looked sharper and quicker
Even though it's not looking good if a Gypsy King vs AJ fight were to happen I'd hope AJ would win Tyson Fury has been ducking too many fights
8:01 .....Man that left hook that Whyte landed on Joshua shook him to his boots. Would have shook anyone to their boots, even Joe Joyce (especially after the aura of Joyce's granite chin was dealt a blow by Zhilie Zhang last week)
I really hope AJ finds a way to bring back the War Machine
People love to hate and see the downfall but an aggressive AJ is good for boxing.
He needs to get their or he is done. Was too hesitant on Saturday
Hate how no one's giving Franklin any credit, great fighter, strong chin, made AJ work for that win. Future top 5, I expect.
Whyte 50/50 AJ
Wilder 60/40 AJ
FURY 70/30 AJ
Wilder KOs AJ within 6 if old AJ turns up wilder takes him in 8 😂
Fury does to AJ what he done to Whyte
Thank you for giving AJ his roses while he's still around. He has done so much for the sport.
@sam sam just imagine how the world of heavyweight boxing would have been like, should he fail to beat Klitsko.
None of these modern heavyweights could beat razor ruddock let alone some of the other monsters from the 80s and 90s.
Funny how it RUclipsrs fighting in the ring and it's world champion boxers that have twitter fingers.
Great video! Small correction at 11:21 Tyson Fury had 1 draw, not 0.
Good win last night he just needs to regain the killer instinct he used to have if he wants to make a dent in the heavyweight division currently
Forget Fury, just boycott him, coming from a once Fury fan
I know 1 things for sure 2 things for certain, Wilder fighting anybody anytime, the rest of them boys scared
It's easy to stay humble when you're winning. AJ learned it the hard way by losing. He was an overhyped boxer anyways.
I do think an AJ vs wilderness fight might be good. Power and natural ability vs skill and finesse.
Fight fans.... Welcome Back
Huge fights that MUST be made in the next 2 years, or else boxing will become even more boring.
1. Deontay Wilder vs Anthony Joshua
2. Tyson Fury vs Olex Usyk
3. Francis Ngannou vs Deontay Wilder
4. Dillian Whyte vs Joe Joyce
5. Francis Ngannou vs Anthony Joshua
Good win for aj 👊🏿... a confidence builder for sure.
He looked punch shy last night joyce will blast him out so would fury
First keep up the great work
AJ never fought Wilder because he was making too much money at that time. Wilder would’ve ruined that.
People forget that all the other heavyweights built themselves up slowly with knock overs especially after losses.. Aj never did this. He needs to keep taking smaller fights and improving under his new trainer just like lewis and Wlad did after getting Koed.
Improving at 33 year.....if you have to improve at that age there is no future in boxing for him anymore
@@samsam-yz8nz heavyweights actually improve later in their careers all the fighters mentioned like Wlad, Lennox, Holyfield etc improved in Wlads case he was way over thirty and got knocked out multiple times by much lesser opponents and still improved. Study boxing.
This is a really good point tbh
The biggest HW-Fights in order:
1. AJ vs Wilder
2. Fury vs Usyk
3. Aj vs Fury
4. Wilder vs Ruiz
5. Aj vs Joyce
AJs going nowhere without footwork
His footwork is there but it’s really awkward in the clinch. I think that’s the least of his problems though, his confidence is the main thing.
@@lekanosagie Yeah he has some. Its shocking for top level. Miles away from Fury or Usyk.
It's all pointless talk. Usyk is the best boxer in the division. There's a reason Fury ducked him
I wouldn’t mind seeing AJ face Ruiz again. An in-shape Ruiz is a real danger fight
I want wilder vs Usyk ,,,,
IMO as long as fury, wilder and usyk are still fighting joshua will never touch gold again
100%
It was so nice i got to lose the belts twice.
Go and buy new ones 😊
I'd put my money on Ngannou
Watching AJ fight last night doesn't give me confidence in his future. AJ seems to be fighting not to lose instead of just going out and dominating.
Fury and Wilder both utterly embarrass AJ
Wilder couldn't even beat parker
I like AJ, seems like a good guy. He honestly 100% fact can't win against the best of best and he never could. He can't beat Deontay Wilder, Fury, Usyk, or about 10 other people.
Tyson Fury is still the best fighter in that weight class hands down. AJ, not even in the converstation. That is my opinion.
Trilogy with ruiz jr.
Dillian, the punching bag of heavyweight boxing 🤣
Boxing fans need to stop rewarding fighters with their money when they're cherry picking opponents and making fights nobody was excited to see.
Usyk/Fury, Joshua/Wilder, Jones/Ngannou. Heavyweight combat sports matchups as they should be.
Deontay Wilder versus anybody is a HUGE fight
“Aj the journey man Joshua😤”
And I’m sure you’d get beaten by a girl
I couldn’t care less for fury anymore. I’d rather see Joshua vs joyce\wilder or usyk
uiz vs wilder
You put a dog with sheep it becomes a sheep 😂 AJ has clearly never heard of a sheep dog. AJ didn’t come out like some phenom beast that was hyped and promised against Franklin. He certainly is not back with vengeance and it 100% is the best time to fight AJ if your Joe, Wilder or Fury. Especially if your Joe Joyce. A knockout of AJ would be massive for his career
How come this AJ videos all we hear is Hearn voice 80% of the time? lol
"Revival" is an overstatement🧐🫢 Joshua knocked out Whyte, Whyte had a barn burner with Franklin and Franklin gave Joshua a COMPETIVE fight.. Joshua since quiting on stool against Ruiz has not been the same💯.. This new Joshua gets beat by Usky again,UD or K.O by Fury and sparked by Wilder enough said..
Lmao, Josh and Franklin was NOT competitive. Joyce got his eyes smashed to bits
He was poised to be the 1 before Ruiz idk what happen but everything now is a payday til he's done, the fire is gone.
Motivedia is the best 🎉
I don't think the nosebleed was Franklin, I think it was from the changing room. He needs to get his confidence back he needs to remember he's not a boxer he's a fighter
It was. Before the fight he had blood on his vest and shorts
Watch Aj vs klitscho then re watch last night. Two different fighters, I don’t think he’s got it in him anymore it’s a mighty shame.
That Ruiz defeat gave him PTSD
Maybe a loss would have made you happy
He can Fight Ruiz toom..... That feud isn't over. It's 1-1
And the Usyk two fight should have been a unanimous decision
