First time I've heard this song sung by a tenor. His is a darker tenor, which can be OK (ala Domingo), but sometimes I struggle with the basic sound of Kaufmann's voice as in this song.
A tiny, uninteresting and - if the truth be told - not very appealing voice. A classic example of the "pressed-tenor" sound. I assume that his renown rests on the hype of the recording industry and good publicists. O tempora, o mores!
Those crescendos are overwhelming...
heavenly!!!!
heavenly!
Man! That crescendo around 4:25 was amazing!
really good
Gorgeous. Wish there was video...
wow :o

Jonas’s name is misspelled un the title for this video
Fixed :) thank you
He has a wrong approach to his voice. He approaches his voice as a bass/baritone and not as a real tenor. Too dark and closed!

Why not just say "I don't like it"? Kaufmann's voice is far bigger than your knowledge about what he is doing. Keep trumpology out of the music world!
@@MrMakahano Your bringing up "trumpology" is far more distasteful than the comment you are replying to. I have disliked both comments.
@@grudley You are such a good lad!
