Earlier in 2019, I showed you my entire vinyl record collection all in one video. A lot of the CD fans out there noticed that fat stack of CDs sitting behind me in each video, so here is all 350+ compact discs that I have in my personal collection. Thanks for watching/liking!

In my opinion listening to a cd feels a lot more personal than listening to a digital recording. And it’s fun watching your collection grow gradually over time

@@micshazam842 yep but original press vinyl sound much better than computer crap....check and audio technica with 2 good speakers and is a whole new game when it comes to audio...sure some people like my wife for example don't care much about sound quality ....but it depends on your taste...
@@heavy_ang_patay yes but I think what they mean is that physical manifestation of the artist's work, feels special. I am attached to my CDs lmao, I only have a few but I only buy one once I genuinely adore the album/the artist, appreciate the album art, booklet art, etc.
This is the type of collection I aspire to have some day.

If you don't mind buying preowned albums, looking at MusicMagpie may be a good option, the albums on there are very cheap and delivery is free.

13 year-old here. As a constant Goodwill visitor, I love digging around in the CDs. It's where I found my first Nirvana album.
I'm literally the only one of all my friends that buys CDs. I love physically owning music, it supports the artist more, and it's the perfect format for my favorite albums of all time. Lots of All Time Low of course

The best part of seeing people's collections is just how diverse it all is. Everyone's tastes/what they collect/why they collect is different and it's really awesome to see that!
I love buying physical copies of my favourite albums. It supports the artist, you have all the songtexts plus beautiful artwork, sometimes a foreword and posters and they look awesome standing next to each other on your shelf. And just collecting something and seeing a collection grow over time is just pure fun.

Your videos have really inspired me to build up my own cd collection! I have around 40 now, mostly from my grandpa and my mum when she was a teenager. I’m only 15, but they hold a lot of sentimental value and it’s nice to have a physical piece of evidence for your love of that music.
I have hybrid theory, live in texas, minutes to midnight special edition, living things, one more light, oml live and post traumatic.

I started my collection about a year ago and I currently have 70 albums, mainly rap projects, but I have some Panic! albums, I own all the Paramore albums, songs about Jane by Maroon 5. I haven't bought any for a little while now because I was considering starting to buy some vinyls but it's a very expensive hobby so I'll stick to CD's. Those signed Hoodie albums I legit need lol, they're so cool, Because the Internet also looks good, never seen that case before for it. Never knew you liked The Weeknd, been meaning to pick that album up along with both Lorde albums.
I started my cd collection a while back and it's quite a lot of fun finding them!

Really awesome collection my dude. I have a pretty decent collection going on and A LOT of the same ones as you. I made the mistake in 2008 of misplacing all of my album artwork during a move and have been spending the last 6 years or so trying to get replacements and it's been such a pain in the ass but so rewarding.

Ive always been a cd collector. Vinyl is cool too but I prefer cds for sure alot more practical but still the satisfaction of a physical product😄

I put my 1975 cds at the start of my collection. I think I have almost 300 cds but I’ve tried to stop buying as many coz I went through a phase where I would be buying like one or two a week and I just don’t have the money. I’ll still always prefer them to vinyl tho 📀

Anyway things to note are also all the Linkin Park Albums, all Albumbs by Rise Against, all main studio albums by Celldweller, some Avril Lavigne, Muse, 30 Seconds to Mars, My Chemical Romance & Owl City/Sky Sailing. ^^

most of the time i’ll collect copies of the same album on different audio formats. if i get abbey road on vinyl, i’ll usually buy it on cassette and cd later on

I’m 14 and I love cds. They are cheaper in the long run, there’s no advertisements in between songs and my laggy laptop can play them fine.

I've been collecting CDs for a little over 4 years, and I have about 100 albums. I have a lot of records that I bought during my emo phase freshman year of HS, and I have to look at all the shame when looking through my collection.
I still love buying CDs if I have room.
