i agree with you. i've lost five pretty close family members the past five years and i've only regretted seeing the open casket ones. the last two i refused to see in their coffins, because i've been traumatized enough by seeing the others in theirs. so, i don't think it's true that "you'll regret it later" if you don't see the deceased in the open casket. leave the kid alone.
Yeah, everyone's different! But I do get that since that was something that really helped her when she was a kid she does think its the best for all. But yes, leave that kid alone
I mean if the kid was having nightmares about the grandma already and they were getting more and more visceral then him getting closure would likely make things better I agree it isn’t always the correct option for everyone but it is important for some kids to be able to comprehend the consequences of death and the realities of it while having people around them in those moments that care…
This is actually the weakest episode, and it's good. Mike Flanagan really wrote his name into horror (and drama) with this show and his other work afterward.
Couldn't agree more ☺️ once she finishes and recovers from watching this I might show her more of Mike Flanagan's works 😋 (I still have to see his new show: The Fall of the House of Usher!)
@@ptthatswhatshesaidI think the Fall of the House of Usher was Flanagans best, then Midnight Mass, and then Hill House. The Midnight Club was the weakest one and could be skipped. The last episode of Bly Manor had me in tears the last 20 minutes or so lol. Bly Manor was good
@@nataliestclair6176 Still have to see The Fall of the House of Usher! Everyone says it's very good So far my favourite is Midnight Mass, then Hill House, Bly Manor (which I only liked partially) and last of all Midnight Club (some nice sequences and 1 or 2 good moments, but overall quite below average).

Like Steven said, this is a show about ghosts of all kinds - the deceased, memories, regrets, secrets. All haunt.
Looking forward to seeing your reactions for the remaining episodes. This show is so good.
It is really great 😁 and I think its a great show to see with someone who has never seen it! 😋
It's been six months since Lucy's introduction to horror. I think she is ready for Hereditary and The Babadook now 😂
Oh she would kill me for sure... 😅😅
@@ptthatswhatshesaid 😂🤣😂
When we die we turn into stories
