I needed to see this. I'm exactly the same - a teacher trying to get into tech. I'm building up my portfolio now and hoping to get my first role by the end of the year, although I'm trying to avoid the high price of a bootcamp if I can 😂 seeing a success story like this gives me more confidence that it can happen for me as well. Thanks for sharing!! I am currently a teacher having to work a second full time low paying job in order to just pay my bills. I love teaching, but my passion has always been with tech. I decided about 6 months ago that I would pursue coding with any spare minute I have to desperately get out of working 80 hours a week just to live. Stories like this give me more fuel to throw in my fire. I'll be in tech so soon that I can taste it.
