Before the film was released, she gave permission to release it, and died shortly after. Usually documentaries like this, have an open ending, but she wanted the movie to show the struggle to live with this disease, but also how deadly it is. She was an amazing photographer and person!

The more times you watch this the more it breaks you down. I'm a grown ass man, run a tug on the Mississippi River. When I learned the story about the girl it started gettin to me bad. The girl was terminally anorexic and ultimately passed. Susannes voice is unmatched.

I cried with you. It’s so said this woman died from anorexia after her life long struggle. I remember watching her on Norwegian tv several times discussing her illness and also her photos. The images are so meningful too, especially in the end where she dies in the hospital bed and the doors open with a bright light (to heaven?) then you see her afterwards living on in heaven (the green field/mountain towards the end). Beautiful
