I live in florida so that heat in combination with our notorious humidity and elderly populace would result in many deaths.
Meanwhile in FL we are having unseasonably cool weather. High of 84 today. Of course that is with 100% humidity per usual.
Right? I'm up north in Indiana and we have had very cool and rainy conditions! Last week it only hit 68 degrees for a few days... in June and it was cool enough I wore a sweater... A SWEATER! In June! Never in my life have I needed a sweater in the middle of an Indiana summer. Usually it's 85+ and humid, but not it felt like autumn. Not only that but we have had so much rain that we went from a drought conditions to above average rain! Over 10 inches all together. I hope this cook weather stays because I love it!
We... gonna... die
Why is it marked as "hot" over louisiana. Its been mid to low 80's for a while its actually nice here
I feel like the definition of "hot" changes depending on where in the country you live
same for texas
@@fgf4973 80 isnt hot here thats actually pretty cool for June/July. Mid 90's would be normal around now so like mod 100's would be considered hot
@@Jacksonn985 Ok wow, I guess I assumed the humidity would add to it feeling hotter than the actual temperature
That's crazy! It's been in the 70s and 80s in South Carolina.
Yeah idk how much it would help but maybe painting roofs and roads in the cities white. Putting gardens on buildings that can support it? We should have gone green a long time ago. At least tried more than we did…
ALL SUMMER
I think stillsuits are going to be big in the near future.
Just remember to breathe in through the mouth and out through the nose.
It's literally just summer
All the airco is going to be a strain on the grid, the fuel supply and the environment.
Never mind the water usage (yes, you, big corps)
Meanwhile in Northern Indiana it only got to 78 today, quite lovely with the sun hidden behind the clouds! The only hot day is on Monday at 88 but that's normal for us lol. I hope you guys stay safe with this awful heat! Keep hydrated and stay inside!
Wait a few days for the heat done to move east. Get prepared. If you dont have AC, get it now. or, wait for this heat dome to hit the air from gulf of Mexico. Could you be waiting for tornadoes?
@@carolynadams5126 Yikes I hope not fpr tornadoes... I live in a trailer so I would for sure be a dead duck. But because of this heat wave it has brought us heavy rain about 10 inches in fact!
I wouldn't call it a heatwave since humans technically did this to ourselves
U guys got the taste of phoenix and Vegas heat. I been here for almost 10 years in phoenix its humid today.
67 here in San Francisco
As humans, we never seem to learn. The time for making changes has passed. It passed a decade ago. Now is the time to prepare and get ready to start living in the ground and learning how to avoid and protect yourself from what mother nature will use to balance things out again. She doesn't do things halfassed either. Get ready for ever-increasing heat and then ever-dropping cold. Don't forget all the crazy wild storms either. It's just part of living on a living, breathing planet.
haha everybody has got a prince albert in prince albert whahaha

Hello Hinata
I'm DwayneJohnson I'll like to know more about you especially on a personal level
Where are you from...?
Kevin Blanch called it 3765 days ago, it's Fukushima.
What excessive heat? When I was a kid,we had consecutive hot days over 100 degrees.
True! In the 1960s in NYC we had several days in a row of hot days in summer. In my home we had no air conditioner and no fans. My late father bought one in the 1970s. His excuse was it might raise the electric bills even though my ,ate mother was also working.
Hello Vicki
I'm DwayneJohnson..where are you from...?
Consecutive days of over 100 is not uncommon....in August.
It cooled off better at night then it does now.
Not in Seattle and Vancouver. I know that the news likes to sensationalize some things, but this is unusual and worrisome.
it was 114 two days ago now it's 80 and cloudy. The "heat dome" is long gone for the PNW
They will be talking about the "heat dome" for weeks. It's too good to pass up. The media likes to scare...it's good for ratings.
YOU ARE INCORRECT. PNW extends east of Cascade mountain range of Oregon and Washington. Triple digit temps are expected to last several days here
Looking forward to November.
Thats right dont mention climate change, CO2, fossil fuels, etc...It might offend your sponsor if you do your job.
It was 84 today in South Carolina.... And it's usually pushing 100 this time of year.
I nearly died just looking at the numbers.
It's cooler in the south which is weird, Usually we'd be like an oven entering July. It's still hot, but nothing extreme yet.
@labcoent co thanks

Nah, and god doesn't love religious fanatics. You drive people away from god more than anybody could.

Keep driving trucks...and flying in planes ...it will make it even hotter in the long run.
Let’s keep investing in fossil fuels, that should help the environment.
Definitely

Please west texas about 3years ago stayed past 100 degrees for over 3 months with no rain.

Ask justice league to save from Omega 😁
Don't waste water. Peta should make shelter with water for animals and birds.

We need to de-fund the heat!!
We need reparations too!
Heat wave? Feels like normal here in south tx (hot & humid like the devil's taint)
😑
That's not good news either. Texas is being moistened up for Devastating Hurricanes like Harvey.
i dont like deviled taint..... :-/
Ignorant much?
@@MrMustangMan me either but eh that's how the weather is here
It's funny how they show you that we really live inside a dome. Shouldn't we be cooler, I mean they tell us that we are spinning at a whopping 66 thousand miles per hour😂😂😂
Somebody clearly doesn't understand the atmosphere
There’s a heat wave? We thought it was a little cooler this year in Arizona🤣😂
Summer aint over yet lol. We will probably get a 130 degree day here in Phoenix
im enjoying laughing at those people in hot weather lol

It's not very hot here in Northern California
70's this weekend for Connecticut
That's after our 2nd heat wave in June...
