The message being no matter who you are we all share the same feelings and can get along. People are people and love is love no matter what you look like. There’s a reason they reference Elton John…this song has a big “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” vibe. And that isn’t bad at all. It’s very, happy pop but it’s exactly what you’d expect from a BTS English, summer song written by Ed Sheeran after being locked down in a pandemic. Justin Timberlake did this a few years ago with “Can’t Stop the Feeling”. It’s nice to just smile and enjoy a happy song!!!

I think V was a big influence in this video. With V being the creator of "I Purple You", a message to Army and now Purple being a official color for BTS. "I left a purple balloon in your dream" was a message that V sent to comfort one Army during Covid. V has also has been using a lot of sign language lately. So I think that he had them include it into this video as to help more Army to be able to understand this Video. V is a very thoughtful and caring person as well as the other members. Sign Language: Scratching their body while raising thumb and slightly benting rest of fingers means "Fun". Moving two fingers side to side on top of palm means "Dancing". Fingers up and down touching thumb means "Talking". Two fingers moving means "Walking". And holding up two fingers also means "Peace". This was a Celebration of Army (Showing different Ages, Genders, Nationalities, Jobs/Roles and including their own Crew and staff). BTS loves their Army.

There's actually a lot going on in the video. They have shown all like the workers, the waitresses, office workers, there was a lady delivering mails, teacher and janitor in school so they're like thanking everybody for being so helpful and still continuing these important jobs even in the pandemic. Then there's obviously sign language in the MV and the lyrics are obviously so deep and inspiring and at the end they're actually dancing with all the crew members and bang PD and the new HYBE ceo are also there towards the left and the background dancers also have like HYBE trainees in them. As expected from BTS, a really nice song that leaves you with a smile on your face.

BTS always has given peoples positive mind especially during this horrible covid pandemic, the way they look the world through their songs make us feels that there's always hope for us.
I'm loving the cowboy/country style they have going on and I'm also giving props to the stylist noonas for styling them this way and also props o to the people in the MV as you could see they were clearly havin fun. I'm loving the beat and the line " I don't need permission to dance" will be stuck in my head for ever and always now, also it's such and iconic line and is up there with " Get it, Let it roll". I'm also loving the beat of the music as it'd so happy and upbeat and really summery, it also makes me wanna smile just seeing them have fun. The choreo is so groovy and makes me wanna dance and I just wanna groove with it also as there isn't really that much choreo it's really easy to dance too. I love their MV as it shows the boys having fun with eachother and other people also the vocals are as amazing as ever, I especially love yoongis vocals as he really can sing, and it makes me wanna sing along. It all being English aswell also makes it their 3rd all English song and this one is just as catch as Dynamite and Butter. Also I love the message behind the song ad it basically says no matter what or where you are if you here music you love just dance along to it as you don't need permission to dance and have fun. Us armys are getting so spoilt on our birthday and o just love the guys so much and you can clearly see how much they love us back k by just seeing how hard they work and how they care about us. What saddened me is that so many people complained about the song, called BTS a "white boy band" and just kept whining and whining how BTS are westernized. They only released 3 English songs and they're acting like they released a whole English album. And this song was a gift for Army, and what did they do? Chewed it up and spat it out like it was nothing. Really showed their true colors. Overall, Permission To Dance is a really great song. It's amazing 💜

I think V was a big influence in this video. With V being the creator of "I Purple You", a message to Army and now Purple being a official color for BTS. "I left a purple balloon in your dream" was a message that V sent to comfort one Army during Covid. V has also has been using a lot of sign language lately. So I think that he had them include it into this video as to help more Army to be able to understand this Video. V is a very thoughtful and caring person as well as the other members. Sign Language: Scratching their body while raising thumb and slightly benting rest of fingers means "Fun". Moving two fingers side to side on top of palm means "Dancing". Fingers up and down touching thumb means "Talking". Two fingers moving means "Walking". And holding up two fingers also means "Peace". This was a Celebration of Army (Showing different Ages, Genders, Nationalities, Jobs/Roles and including their own Crew and staff). BTS loves their Army.

There's actually a lot going on in the video. They have shown all like the workers, the waitresses, office workers, there was a lady delivering mails, teacher and janitor in school so they're like thanking everybody for being so helpful and still continuing these important jobs even in the pandemic. Then there's obviously sign language in the MV and the lyrics are obviously so deep and inspiring and at the end they're actually dancing with all the crew members and bang PD and the new HYBE ceo are also there towards the left and the background dancers also have like HYBE trainees in them. As expected from BTS, a really nice song that leaves you with a smile on your face.

This whole song is a bop! Nice to see the rap line getting to sing
I'm loving the cowboy/country style they have going on and I'm also giving props to the stylist noonas for styling them this way and also props o to the people in the MV as you could see they were clearly havin fun.
I'm loving the beat and the line " I don't need permission to dance" will be stuck in my head for ever and always now, also it's such and iconic line and is up there with " Get it, Let it roll".
I'm also loving the beat of the music as it'd so happy and upbeat and really summery, it also makes me wanna smile just seeing them have fun.
The choreo is so groovy and makes me wanna dance and I just wanna groove with it also as there isn't really that much choreo it's really easy to dance too.
I love their MV as it shows the boys having fun with eachother and other people also the vocals are as amazing as ever, I especially love yoongis vocals as he really can sing, and it makes me wanna sing along.
It all being English aswell also makes it their 3rd all English song and this one is just as catch as Dynamite and Butter.
Also I love the message behind the song ad it basically says no matter what or where you are if you here music you love just dance along to it as you don't need permission to dance and have fun.

I cried while watching this MV for 20th times. Biggest flex is that, they gave this to ARMY'S as a Gift for our 8th year anniversary. Second is July is actually a Disability Pride month, and just by seeing how they incorporated SIGN LAGUAGE TO THEIR CHOREO is just THE MOST WHOLESOME THING. And it's more healing when you realized that when you scrambled the word PERMISSION TO DANCE= STORIES ON PANDEMIC WHICH ARE ALL SHOWN TO THE WHOLE MV. I LOVE BTS, FOREVER AND ALWAYS. Best GIFT EVER!

10:25 if you didn’t know, the people behind them aren’t backup dancers, they are their staff-team, like stylist team staff, music team staffs, direction team staffs etc... this was really heart-warming to add them in the mv cause workers and staffs like them were the most helpless ones in this pandemic in a way..this mv felt really heart-warming to see all these people of different races and types being in the mv💜🥺
