- Terraria is a land of adventure! A land of mystery! A land that's yours to shape, defend, and enjoy. Your options in Terraria are limitless. Are you an action gamer with an itchy trigger finger? A master builder? A collector? An explorer? There's something for everyone.
Start by building basic shelter, then dig for ore and other resources. Discover and craft over 500 weapons of magic, ranged, melee and summon varieties, as well as armor, and use them to battle hundreds of different enemies. Soon you'll be going head-to-head with any of a dozen enormous bosses. Go fishing, ride a mount, find Floating Islands, build houses for helpful NPCs, and much, much more.
The Calamity Mod is a large content mod for Terraria which adds many hours of endgame content and dozens of enemies and bosses dispersed throughout the vanilla game's progression. The Calamity Mod also features several harder difficulty modes, five new biomes and new structures, a new class, more than forty new songs, over fifty recipes for previously uncraftable vanilla items and other assorted changes to vanilla gameplay.
The Pure Summoner experience is an entire Let's Play summed up in an entire movie, where I am allowed to use only Minion Staves and Sentries
that deal Summon damage, as well as other weapons that do Summon Damage, but NOT Whips. Basically, this is a Summoner run but without using any whips or classless weapons / sentries. The recording process took several days, as well as the editing one, but I was way too lazy to start editing and it took one month only to start the project.
Probably the next FULL MOVIE will be "Calamity Flails Only", but I will leave that for 2024.

I recently did a summon only calamity playthrough with one hp. It only started getting fun around post golem, when things stopped hitting me because they died too fast (bosses excluded) It forced me to do all the bosses no hit, which was hands down super fun
it was getting fun until you realised it was summoner
@@bleh6643 actually ironically summoner made it easier, earlier I tried with melee but it became too difficult to focus on damage and dodging at the same time because I’m bad at multitasking

Hey dude you should use the Summoner UI mod. It just adds small nodes that show how many minions and sentries you have plus your slots and does not change the game in any way. It’s great, would recommend

Your playthroughs have been fun to watch, really appreciating the shift to voiced narration a while back, especially on longer videos like the calamity ones. Always easier to have up to watch and listen to while working on other stuff, haha.
I love the different influences in the video style coming through but still having a flavor of its own. The stardew music is a based choice :)

something to point out for the uninitiated:
Phantasm is a goof, the Statis' Blessing line does not stack with previous steps in its crafting tree, except for the components of the original item. Phantasm essentially sacrificed an accessory slot and still went crazy. Just don't do this in your playthroughs unless you really wanna challenge yourself

The hardest part about killing these bosses is trying your hardest not to jam out to the baller music playing

Idk if you knew this but you can get terraprisma from nighttime empress at a 10% chance, so you didn’t have to try daytime empress that much lol

Nah, pre hardmode calamity is the only real bad part the rest is fun.

You should try summoner on infernium, it works really well
I want to confirm before i keep doing it, chugging mana potions with weapons like slime puppet staff doesnt effect the damage because its not considered magic damage, right?
I just finished my first playthrough of calamity as a summoner in revengeance. Took about 28 hours, providence was the hardest boss at 14 tries. I beat plaguebringer Goliath, exo mechs, and supreme calamitas first try

Day Time empress is my Favourite Boss Its the Most fun and has the best Drops for me (im Summoner and we arent counting mods)
Why did you not just grab wulframs at the start? Takes under a minute to get as it’s meant to be your first summon set.
Whips - do summon damage
All things that exclusively do summon damage are summoner items.
Pure summon= only minions similar to how pure melee is melee with projectiles

Guess calamity had an update recently because the bosses are signifigantly harder now with more mechanics on Master + Revengence
@Sengyizhe Fabsol buffed the bosses in Master Revengeance/Death Mode to be as unfair as possible to deter players from playing in a Master Mode world. In other words, they brought back Malice Mode lmao.

infernum mode summoner early game is pure masochist experience espically king slime,cant even hit the crystal since it sync with your movement,the whip cant hit that far and the minions only focus on the slime
