Shao legit is the counter pick to my man li Mei. He has some of the fastest Instant 50/50s, axe range, pressure and he is a stance character. It’s an uphill battle fighting him especially since li Mei is too stubby to punish with most normals besides back 2
let go of block after the d1 or jump probably any "ticks" only work if you stay blocking the mix ofc is they can instead do d1 -> special which will get you if youre not blocking gl out there!

How can i counter his 12 combo starter. I played a guy spamming it and didn't know what to do. He was faster than my 7 frames attacks
i mean was he just doing 12 and then 12 again? all s1 should be highs so you should be able to duck or poke under it
