Josh Perry thank you !!! I suffer from terrible migraines almost always accompanied by heavy vomiting. It' s been my nightmare for the past 10 years. Since my father suffers from migraines, too I thought I couldnt do anything about it. But my last migraine from before 3 weeks ago left me with this throbbing/pulsating sensation in the brain that comes some time after breakfast and goes away at night ( to come back before noon the next day). I will see my neurologist in...May (yes, Polish NHS doesn't work well) and ask her for MRI. I know stress is the main culprit (last time I was relatively happy was 4 years ago and at that time I had maybe 1 migraine per year, now I have 1 per month), but I worry there might be something more to it. Throbbing im the brain is associated with high blood pressure but mine it very low I can't live withought coffee. I'm pretty low carb (have been for 2-3 years) but anytime I try to go keto I suffer from yet another migraine headache and I know it's natural, my brain is in shock, but I'd rather give birth again than have another headache of that kind. Any suggestions?
Thanks for sharing and I for sure would get an MRI ASAP! There is so much context needed for the keto/headache part worsening but MRI is first to see what may be going on. I would also have to ask if you have tried slowing reducing the caffeine via half caffeinated and slowly reduce it over time? What does "low-carb" mean and look like to you? What about water and electrolytes? Are you tracing your macronutrient intake? Are you getting enough fat? Are you utilizing exogenous ketones? How about MCT oil and other MCT containing foods like coconut oil, heavy cream, etc.?
No doubt and I continue to work on my body and mind to become the healthiest, happiest, and most successful version of myself. Thanks for the love and support!
Otto Heinrich Warburg was a German physiologist, medical doctor, and Nobel laureate who investigated the metabolism of tumors and the respiration of cells, particularly cancer cells. He discovered that animal tumors produce large quantities of lactic acid1. In 1931, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology for his "discovery of the nature and mode of action of the respiratory enzyme"1. Warburg hypothesized that cancer growth was caused when cancer cells converted glucose into energy through glycolysis in the presence of oxygen2. He believed that the prime cause of cancer is the replacement of the respiration of oxygen (oxidation of sugar) in normal body cells by fermentation of sugar3. So it is true that Warburg discovered that cancer cells ferment sugar to produce energy. Cancer cells ferment sugar because they are not getting enough oxygen.
Thank you for all your wonderful helpful videos...so knowledgeable and so kind. One thing I would ask, if you can, record at higher sound as I can hardly hear no matter how high my sound is set.
Dr. Westman I finally enjoyed this video , it didn't have that annoying colored bar , flashing the headings ..Can concentrate on you & the story much better !! I've heard many stories over the years on my Keto/Low Carb journey that many believe Keto has shrunk their tumors etc .. I too think there is something about it that's Healing to the whole body .. Grain Brain is a good book , I have a number of Low Carb/Keto one's . When I first started this lifestyle .. I was worried my Dr. wouldn't approve so I went armed with " The Art & Science of Low Carb. Living " book . My Dr. seemed interested , told me he knows of Low Carb but "many" won't stay on it . Too restrictive & cuts out familiar foods & most don't want to give those up . After I reversed many of my health problem's & got to a normal BMI .. I was told by him ..that he wished more of his patients would take control of their health like I did :) :)
Yes, look into adding MCT oil. My wife has stage 4 breast cancer and doesn't eat much, so I make her a shake based on this paper about MCT oil and cachexia: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/7759747 My version is about 1000 calories, but it takes her two days to consume it. I use: 1 large scoop (33g Vega) Vanilla protein powder = 20g protein +5g carbs 1 scoop (10g) Mango KetoND ketone supplement 3/4 cup water 1/2 up heavy cream 1/4 cup (50g) MCT oil 1/2 avocado = 60g (helps to hide the stevia taste and grittiness of the Vega) Almond extract, 1 teaspoon to taste 120g or so of ice (double hand full) Blend well with immersion blender You can substitute coconut cream for the heavy cream, but I found it turns solid if you add the ice to the mix. I tell her I can't make it taste like a real milkshake, and to think of it as medicine that doesn't taste so bad. Caution: MCT oil can cause diarrhea so don't drink it all at once. :)
I am doing well. Still living a metabolic healthy lifestyle. Had an awake surgery to remove a 5th brain tumor that developed in my frontal lobe and another round of Gamma Knife Radiation to treat 2 more that grew back but were small. Can't find the cause so I am exploring pyschedlic assisted psycho therapy to try and get into the unconscious level of chronic stress from trauma trapped in my CNS.
@@JoshPerryBMX Hi Josh, I'm also taking Turkey Tail mushroom for its anti-turmor properties, as well as intermittent fasting and keto. Keeping fit and sleeping well is all part of it. I have advanced Thyroid cancer so good luck to us

Curious what has happened to Josh in the 2 year since this interview?
Doctors not listening to patients, a very common occurrence.
My 85 year mother 96 LB, has stage 1 colon cancer and advance stage of Alzheimer’s, it’t difficult to get her to eat anything. Can she be helped?
Mishel White sorry to hear Mishel, cutting her carbs in the meals she does eat may help and it’s worth a try.
I'd also add in MCT oils and or exogenous ketones to the mix to support her brain's metabolism.

Those in conventional medicine cant support holistic and if they do its very limited bc their license will be removed. Be your own advocate!!
What type of a mass?
Benign or malignant?
he was told benign but it has matastised
@@craigrik2699 that sounds contradictory. It can happen but is exceedingly rare.
I think all cancers need glucose! Low glycemic is the best!
How are you doing now? I hope you are doing well 🙏🙏🙏 my father in law got diagnosed with liver cancer
Alpha-lipoic acid
