Thank you for posting the video. It is awesome! I plan to do it on coming Feb 23 using snowshoe and pulk. I have 6 days budgeted for the trip. Depending on the weather. Plan A - Abisko to Kvikkjokk. Plan B- Abisko to Nikkaluokta. Plan C - Abisko out and back. Questions: a) How many hours do you spend moving per day? b) Were there any concern on dealing with open water? c) Any other advice?
Thanks! I put the batteries in a small cooler bag (the same one where I used to put the beers in the summer 😅), where there were also winter socks to keep them warm, and it worked, they didn't lose their charge. I had three 26000 milliamper powerbanks and used the maps on my phone (mapi.cz and Komoot), but it turned out to be a bad idea because I lost the gps signal after 6 days of storm. In such bad conditions you definitely need a reliable Garmin gps.
ciao, esperienza epica, rispetto. Ho percorso le prime due sezioni del Kungsleden a inizio settembre di due anni fa, secondo te come è la situazione clima e neve a fine maggio?Vorrei tornarci per la terza e quarta sezione.Fattibile in condizioni simili o è presto?Grazie.
... e c'è chi percorrendo questo bellissimo percorso in estate piagnucola per il freddo... grande davvero 😉💪🏻
