The way I currently do it isn't very technical I'm afraid...I literally have my camera on a tripod pointing downwards, that I position my limbs either side of...it's quite restricting at times! I have recently bought a rig that you attach to the ceiling; just need to install it!

I made this almost one year ago, and had never heard of Lewis Capaldi, and heard this song on an Instagram advert! I honestly thought NO ONE would want to learn it, and perhaps didn't put my heart and soul into making this. This is one of my earliest tutorials, and I'd LOVE to remake this, with how far my videos/tutorials have come on now haha :) I'm A LOT more proud of my tutorials from the past several months - please check them out as they're far superior to this one!

Anonymous Ivy all I can say is watch some other videos too, and if they have notes written on, slow the video down so you can play along, because it also helps being able to play when you see something, and just practise whenever you can

Anonymous Ivy actually you don’t need any experience playing the piano before playing this specific one. It might seem a little challenging at first but it’s litterally 8 chords that repeat throughout the whole song. I don’t see this taking you more than a day or two to be able to even sing it while playing it :)

@@BitesizePiano Hello again … perhaps you have received my comment as a criticism, whereas it’s my personal observation. There is something magical about seeing a visual of the person presenting. It creates an added quality as the personality gives another dimension. My comment carried zero negative intention!!! I am sad that it did not come across as I meant it to.
I do show myself in many of my videos, but I’d personally find it distracting with too many things to look at on the screen. My tutorials are effective cause they’re simple to look at!
