I like how this season shows how Oliver became much more skilled in combat. He not only was willing to kill this guy but he was also was capable of one punch knock outing him (which he did before he killed him). This shows that he is clearly stronger than in the flashbacks from the first season.
WafflingMean44 I guess that makes the end of th season a lil better because I kinda always hated slade’s motivation: avenge shado and make Oliver believe he’s a murderer? Doesn’t suit the character honestly but as long as they built it up as a theme during the season I’m okay w it I guess
+NeonTime They did not build it up that much the conflict of Oliver being a murderer in this Season. Slade was insane and that's why he was convinced about it. So if you are confused as to what the reason is behind him saying that, keep in mind he is not being logical. If anything Slade when he was insane would admire Oliver for caving someone's head in because they threatened Shado.
This is one of the few times Slade actually called Oliver by his name (as opposed to “kid”). Even Slade was concerned/freaked out! Haha
