That was amazingly well preserved other than the fruit. It got me ready to get the bird in the oven and the feast rolling! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! I’m glad I stumbled on your channel!

I loved that mre. That generation of mre was 1000x better than the new crap they make.

During WW2, Eisenhower mandated that each soldier was due a hot, homemade turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Even if the food delivery was in a theater of battle. Anyways, Happy Thanksgiving buddy!! Thanks for sharing. Great video as always!!

Happy Thanksgiving Paul, to you and yours. Cool back story. I never tried this meal. I wish they had used terms, other than, chunked and formed? LOL. like most meals, components seem solid. 1999 as you and Brad and Jerms agreed. Even 60's era peanut butter, when mixed up is good. Never got A bad one. Mixed fruit is the casualty here. So is coffee. Rest looks good. Chocolate bars surprised me. I figured at least one would be rancid. Meal was stored well, agreed. Glad you had fun. Peace, John.
