John your video about you joining the fire service in 1985 had made me more confident and not scared to do the job that my grandad was doing before he retired I was a cadet and that made me feel like I was doing the real thing its really amazing watching different fire services but you have inspired me John linden hope other people feel the same as I do

I've been to FSC many times & it is a disgrace following privatisation years ago. No centre of excellence at all, just greed for profit. Many of the fire appliances were destroyed or damaged in a fire in the appliance room. They had the audacity to beg Fire brigades to give them old ones, as they weren't even insured. A fantastic facility gone to wrack & ruin, the grass was knee high & no one could even see out of the windows as they were so dirty. The accomodation was deemed unfit for asylum seekers.
