Yes, there are some brilliant ideas in this cadres' speech, but as we saw with the EFF, the socialist rhetoric needs to be toned down as centralized economies have inbuilt structural problems. In my view, land reacquistion measures are desirable no matter what your political orientation is. An open market economy premised on a government doing structural changes to address historical imbalances is a political project that transcends all political ideologies. I recommend cde Shivambu to look at the case of Quebec in nationalization and see if this experiment can be done without necessarily destabilizing the market. In fact, it every business embraces projects that guarantee sustainable political and economic stability. With the move to MK, Shivambu has a golden opportunity to fine tune his ideology so that he can me pragmatic and more inclusive so that the MK doesn't suffer the same fate as the EFF. Nationalization and equitable redistribution of wealth is necessarily a communist project, but an act of historical justice.
We are proud and blessed to have a person of such a rare callibre.
