all the points you said are correct and are also mentioned in detail in Vikram Sampath's book, so you saying no one from BJP and RSS will tell you this is wrong, however, most of his ideas/conclusions were because of the individual experiences he had at that time. Supporting someone doesn't mean you agree with each and every thought of that person, to put it in context if someone supports Mahatma Gandhi and considers him a freedom fighter he need not agree with his regressive opinions on caste-based discrimination, and his stance on alcohol and beef as mentioned in the Gandhian Principles of DPSP.

For me - His mercy petetion is a non-issue... Because many people wrote Mercy petetion in the face of harsh sentences... The real issue for me is his involvement/abettment (at the minimum being source of inspiration) for murder of Mahatma Gandhi... Savarkar advocated for Akhand Bharat, but he is wrongly associated with propagating the two-nation theory. The term was first coined by Syed Ahmed Khan in 1876, and Savarkar never promoted hatred against Muslims. In fact, his book acknowledges and appreciates the contributions of Muslim figures in the Indian War of Independence, such as Bahadur Shah Zafar. Critics often misinterpret Savarkar's Akhand Bharat philosophy as anti-Muslim, ignoring its secular nature. I can only think of two greatest leaders who followed a no compromise policy with the British and were very progressive in their thought process- Bhagat Singh and Subhash Bose. Ofcourse Nehru had quite similar ideology with the above two, but he later joined the Gandhian camp and negotiated with the British.
Moreover, the first edition was published by B.G Paul and Co publishers , Madras. As it was published in 1926 and during that tenure Savarkar was not allowed to leave Ratnagiri . It is impossible for Savarkar to get it published from Madras.

Vinayak Savarkar didn't write the first book on the First War of Independence, nor was he the first one to call it so. It was Karl Marx who wrote about "The First Indian War of Independence (1857-58)" and call it so, way way earlier than Savarkar. In fact, Savarkar's book was written in 1909 copying much of Marx's format. Heck, Marx predicted such a revolt might happen soon in India as early as 1850s. I didn't expect this editorial blunder from Akash!

For me - His mercy petetion is a non-issue... Because many people wrote Mercy petetion in the face of harsh sentences... The real issue for me is his involvement/abettment (at the minimum being source of inspiration) for murder of Mahatma Gandhi... What ever else he had done - the fact that he was radically opposed to the greatest Indian to have walked the earth and the fact that his closest associates murdered him is enough not to consider him for Bharata Ratna.. Firstly, for those who claim "Bhagat Singh, Subhas Chandra Bose, Azad, etc., were the true freedom fighters," it's essential to recognize Savarkar's influence on them. The party founded by Bhagat Singh, the HRA, mandated every member to read Savarkar's book "Indian War of Independence, 1857." Bhagat Singh even republished the book, with Netaji concluding its third edition. This admiration from such renowned figures underscores Savarkar's significant role in shaping the path to independence.
Secondly, despite spending 13 years in cellular jail, Savarkar's post-release life was far from luxurious. He endured further imprisonment in Ratnagiri Jail for another 13 years, followed by several years of house arrest. This treatment indicates that despite his release, he remained a threat to the British Crown, facing continued suppression.
The often-criticized phrase "I will serve the English govt. in any capacity" must be understood within the context of a formal mercy petition. Just as school applications use formal language, this phrase was a customary part of such petitions. Moreover, Savarkar expressed willingness to sacrifice his own freedom if it meant the release of other prisoners, highlighting his selflessness.
Thirdly, Savarkar believed in Akhand Bharat philosophy, you guys must be well versed with it but again he is criticized for propagating two nation theory isn’t it paradoxical. Savarkar advocated for Akhand Bharat, but he is wrongly associated with propagating the two-nation theory. The term was first coined by Syed Ahmed Khan in 1876, and Savarkar never promoted hatred against Muslims. In fact, his book acknowledges and appreciates the contributions of Muslim figures in the Indian War of Independence, such as Bahadur Shah Zafar.
Critics often misinterpret Savarkar's Akhand Bharat philosophy as anti-Muslim, ignoring its secular nature. He never linked it to any specific religion but rather to a geographical area encompassing diverse communities. Additionally, Savarkar's personal liberalism, including his disregard for the caste system (which Gandhi supported) and his diet choices, further contradicts the notion of him being anti-Muslim or promoting hatred.
And lastly, there is no proof that Savarkar was involved in the assassination this was certainly heled by the court in 2018 when a PIL was filled against Kapur Commission herein the court said that “ the Red Fort Trail judgement was correct and he has no association with the assassination.

I can only think of two greatest leaders who followed a no compromise policy with the British and were very progressive in their thought process- Bhagat Singh and Subhash Bose. Ofcourse Nehru had quite similar ideology with the above two, but he later joined the Gandhian camp and negotiated with the British.
Moreover, the first edition was published by B.G Paul and Co publishers , Madras.
As it was published in 1926 and during that tenure Savarkar was not allowed to leave Ratnagiri . It is impossible for Savarkar to get it published from Madras.

Bias can occur at any phase of research .
therefore, me being a research scholar at a point of time, myself feel that your facts and data are drived with lot of biasness.
I want, that people are given raw as it is series of facts from both the sides mentioning How, when, who,where, with whom, why- all of these questions are answered simultaneously from all the sides to give as it is picture. Given you are influencing a lot of minds, it's your duty to spread correct and wide range of information, leaving people to form their "own" opinion.

Savarkar was a British agent. A controlled oppo. Judging by his actions & works.
Vinayak Savarkar didn't write the first book on the First War of Independence, nor was he the first one to call it so. It was Karl Marx who wrote about "The First Indian War of Independence (1857-58)" and call it so, way way earlier than Savarkar. In fact, Savarkar's book was written in 1909 copying much of Marx's format. Heck, Marx predicted such a revolt might happen soon in India as early as 1850s. I didn't expect this editorial blunder from Akash!

Please check the image shown in the video. It was 'The Indian War of Independence 1857', and that was written by none other than Savarkar.
@@ranjanc9846 Akash claimed that Savarkar was the first one to coin that term. That is a false claim. Hence the graphic makes even lesser sense.
